"The Curse Of Tut"
(prod. #8729-Pt. 1) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EST) on ABC as the 27th episode of Batman.

Victor Buono made his debut as King Tut on Batman in these episodes, which were the first of the series to feature an original major antagonist for Batman, one not previously found in the comic books!

Olan Soule (the Newscaster) later provided the voice of the animated Batman in Filmation's The Batman-Superman Hour and The Adventures Of Batman from 1968 to 1970, and the many incarnations of Hanna-Barbera's Super Friends between 1973 and 1984; Soule also played Aristotle "Tut" Jones in the Captain Midnight television series.

Emmanuel Thomas (Reporter) returned to play another Gotham news journalist in the 1966 Batman movie: Mr. Stanley of The Gotham Globe.

"The Pharoah's In A Rut"
(prod. #8729-Pt. 2) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EST) on ABC as the 28th episode of Batman.

The "Batman" cover issue of TV Guide announced that Robert Morely was slated to portray King Tut, which turned out to be completely unfounded.

The ambulance was later used as The Ghostbusters' car 18 years later.
