It all starts tonight!
CLARK IS TRAPPED IN THE PHANTOM ZONE WHILE ZOD TAKES OVER LEX?S BODY AND PLOTS TO DESTROY EARTH; JIMMY OLSEN JOINS THE DAILY PLANET ? Thrown into the Phantom Zone, a Kryptonian jail created by Jor-El, Clark (Tom Welling) finds himself without powers and surrounded by revenge-seeking criminals sent away by his father. Meanwhile, having taken over Lex?s (Michael Rosenbaum) body, Zod keeps Lana (Kristin Kreuk) captive with a demand to sire him an heir and begins his plans to turn Earth into a Krypton-like planet using the alien ship?s hard drive. After Lois (Erica Durance) and Martha?s (Annette O?Toole) plane crashes near the Fortress of Solitude, Jor-El tells Martha how to kill Zod. Back at the Daily Planet, Chloe (Allison Mack) reunites with an old flame, Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore). John Glover also stars. Steven S. DeKnight wrote the episode directed by James Marshall.

hey the season premiere ratings were a little bit low than last year's this year's winner is the "ugly betty" so smallville, kneel before betty!
but in my opinion not even the most beaty or awful betty wud make me stop watching smallvile!

Well Season 6 is off to a great start [let's hope they can keep it that way and not go back to the old dumbass partern they do every season]
First off This is the second best Season Premiere of smallville
1. "Crusade" [Season 4] - 10/10
2. "Zod" [Season 6] - 10/10
3. "Exile" [Season 3] - 10/10
4. "Smallville" [Season 1] - 10/10
5. "Vortex" [Season 2] - 7/10
6. "Arrival" [Season 5] - 5/10
The Good
1. Clark Kent / Kal-EL - Clark showed signs of maturity of his future counterpart THE MAN OF STEEL in this entire episode .
2. The Superman Emblem - was freaking awesome
3. Lois & Clark forshadowing - [The scene in the hosptial, Clark shows his strong feelings for Lois that he tried to keep hidden for so long. And Lois looking at him in a wierd way. {They starting to set up the stage for the super love triangle between Lois/Superman & Clark Kent}
4. The Revelation of Jor-EL's true Character - [Clark finally learns the real truth about his father Jor-EL [the loving father , that tried not only to save his family but also his home planet from destruction.]
5. Inside The Phantom Zone & Escape the from The Phantom zone - [Clark in the phantom zone getting the living crap beating out him was great. It final knocked some sense into him. the effect for inside the phantom zone location was awesome it didn't look like the crap from the supergirl movie,] [The escape scene was a badass scene Clark placing his hand on The kryptonian "House Of EL"/Superman emblem was a nice touch not to mention Clark's return to earth. But it looks like 7 other members from the Phantom zone escaped throught the protal with Clark, could make for an intresting story arc for season 6. If written well.]
6. The Super badass fight between Kal-EL vs. Zod. - [It should've been longer]
7. Martha talk with Jor-EL in The Fortress Of Solitude - [see now this is the Jor-EL we should've appeared from since "Exodus", the talk he & martha had was very touching. Now if only Lara & Martha could have a chat about Kal-EL's Destiny , that would be great.]
8. Chloe & Jimmy - [this is going to be a very entertaining relationship, I enjoyed the reunion part alot.]
The CGI - [They raised the bar.] [Zod flying, Clark's powers [super speed, Super strenght, heat vision] [the effect for The Phantom Zone] [The CGI image of General zod coming out of Lex's body.] [the ship that Brainiac came out off]
The new opening credits [super awesome]
I can't wait for next weeks episode . Clark discovers the power of "SUPER-Breath"

This was a really good start. I hope that things don't go downhill like last season. WIth this strong start they should be able to keep the momentum.
