I gotta go with Kal-el on this one. I even fast fowarded through parts of a show because of how lame it was. I didn't really like Carrie Fisher, maybe the character was written poorly or something. It just seemed forced. There is a reason why whe has had success at being a writer and not an actress.
I didn't care much for Lana's character before, but now... words can't express my apathy. Hopefully the episodes pick up as the season goes by. This was quite a fall from last weeks episode.

- GOOD OLD BOY TOM WOPAT REUNITES WITH "DUKES OF HAZZARD" CO-STAR JOHN SCHNEIDER - Clark (Tom Welling) and Jonathan (John Schneider) are thrilled when Jake Jennings (guest star Tom Wopat), Jonathan's oldest friend, rolls into the Kent farm looking for their support in his campaign for re-election to the senate. However, after a young girl named Melissa (guest star Sarah Mutch) turns up dead, it is revealed that she was a stripper and Jennings' mistress, which makes him the prime suspect. Searching for answers, Chloe (Allison Mack) convinces Lois (Erica Durance) to go undercover as a stripper, but things take a dangerous turn when Lois gets kidnapped by a diplomat's son (guest star Woody Jeffreys) who intends to sell her into slavery.
TV Guide's "Exposed" Description!
Tom Wopat makes a guest appearance as a state senator --and an old friend of the Kents--who is linked to the murder of an exotic dancer (Sarah Mutch). The woman told Chloe she had a big story, but was killed before she could pass on any details. Andre: Woody Jeffreys.

why is cloe lois? lol. lois is so weird in smallville. cloe is more like the real lois, than lois.

Lois isn't weird in smallville , The Lois in smallville is a younger version, It's a Lois Lane who isn't sure what's in store for her Future . As is Clark. The producers of Smallville , have made young Lois, very much like young Clark. (A version of young Clark Kent who doesn't want to become SUPERMAN. Who wants to live an a Mortal life with his highschool sweetheart Lana lang, Who doesn't want to leave smallville,) (Young Lois is a girl, Who isn't interested in becoming a reporter, Who isn't sure what her Future holds for her.)
But like Clark, (Who this season is very soon going to Embrace his DESTINY, and move forward to becoming SUPERMAN,) Lois too (Will soon be moving forward in her DESTINY, and you will see Lois Lane (Investivgative Reporter for The Daily Planet begin to take form.)
Your Wrong Chloe isn't like Lois Lane, she has some of her characteristics,(That Lois has,) just like she has the comic book Lana lang characteristics too. (but Chloe is her own character.)

It won't, Lois will ONE Day become {Lois Joanne Lane Kent} Clark will get married to her. All the forshadowing (In the episodes Lois is in.) proves Lois will one day become Mrs. Kent/Mrs. SUPERMAN .

I think that the Lana and Pete thing will not happen in Smallville. They really didn't have anything together until well into Superman's career. He was President after Luthor, but is no longer President. In fact, he is potentially a bad guy, but that is for another thread.
To me Cloe is a cookie cutter re-do of the Lois character we are used to. Snooping reporter that is always getting into trouble. She is constantly reminding me of Terry Hatcher's Lois.

At one time it was rumored that by the end of the series Chole would die. That is what would make Lois want to be a reporter and Clark to become Superman.
Things do change, I've also heard rumors of Pa Kent dieing, which I hope doesn't happen.

if cloe dies, then it must be the person that jor-el was talking about when he sed that someone close to clark had to die. and pa kent dying??? that kinda sucks.
do u think we'll ever get to see a tom welling superman? i think it cud work, but he wud have to work out ALOT to make him look like the superman in the comics.

oh yeah, one more thing...why is lois pole dancing?...and why is clark even there?? ive never seen superman so messed up. lol. i wud think that a young superman wud be like a nerd that doesnt do anything, but i guess not.
