i really don't know if this topic has been brought up, but if it has, i'm sorry.
Lately a lot of Future heroes have been Seen on smallville, and perhaps the most that everyone is familar with, is bruce.
my question is, if and when they decide to put him on smallville, how do you think they'll put his costume (if they have a costume), what will the first mission be? will he be trusted by clark, will clark trust him? I REALLY WANT TO KNOW!!! I AM ANXIOUS IN SEEING BRUCE IN SMALLVILLE!!! but the most important question, will he be going by the name "Batman"?

This was supose to air, but instead they went with Smallville. Bruce will likly never appear on the show because of the new movies. There is what's called a "Bat-Emborgo" meaning that no other show can use the same characters except the basic ones.
Thats is why Only Batman appeared on JLU, and Ras, Scarecrow, & Two-Face are not allowed in the cartoon.
It's stupid, the WB Execs think that we're to stupid to have more than one incarnation of each character, yet Superman can have the Live action movie, TV series, all his characters on JLU & be in the Legion Of Superheroes..
Anyway.. again.. Welcome!

The WB went with Smallville because a Batman movie was going to be made so they didn't want to have the show as well.
Batman will never appear in the show, but the producers had talked about maybe bring in Bruce Wayne as a rival of shorts for Luthorcorp but it fell through due to Batman Begins.

I hate that Bat-embargo. Its so unfair there's not a Super-embargo that can limit where Superman is. Why does Batman have to be treated so differently?
There's been a lot of references to Bruce Wayne though in Smallville. Especially this season with someone mentioning Gotham, the Corto Maltese, and even Green Arrow was created to copy Bruce Wayne's persona.
