this game would be one of those games where u play it with a friend for hours and beat it in one night. and even after u beat it, u can replay it with a completed file which i thought was awesome.

Yeah, fate loaths me. I had a bad thing happen.

You see I was at what I believe is the final boss, and at this boss instead of picking two characters you get to pick a whole gaggle of them, and each one comes in when anouther is defeated; so if I pick Superman, then Wonder Woman, then Batman, I start with Supes and WW, and when one goes down Bats enters the fray. Well I had the boss within a sliver of his life, so I went for the kill, unfortunatly he hit my character before she could hit him; so she died and I pulled the kill with the second character. But just as I won the fight, the third character began to spawn; while a auto save and FMV load were happening. My PS2 couldn't handle it and locked up.

For those who don't know, if a game is saving and the save is interupted then the save file is corrupted and unable to load; therefore I've got to start the game from scratch.

Sorry to hear that, Razhwurz. Although, now you know what it was like for us old-timers that didn't have a "save" option on our games. Every time was starting from scratch Smile

The game isnt so good... the graphics are good, but story-wise its mediocre, and i was MOST looking forward to playing as batman, and BEHOLD! hes the most boring character to play with. All you can do is button mash, and summon bats upon your enemies, which kind of pales in comparison to flash's super speed and superman's frost breath and laser vision. Although batman LOOKS great, he doesnt play half as good as i thought he would. Every character has 4-5 power moves, and thats not alot. Sure, they can be upgraded, but after watching batman do the same power combo 50 times, and throw a batarang 50 times, it STARTS to get old. I rented it, and over 4 days of mild playing im almost done with it...kind of on the short side. This could be because WB made snowblind release it UNFINISHED, and that WB restricted much of what snowblind did with the game, but either way, its an ok game, expected much better. hopefully the sequel is ALOT better.

The problem DarkKight666 is having is that the fun is in using differant combinations of characters. Instead of playing Batman in every availiable mission, try using Batman and Superman in one, then follow it up with Wonder Woman and Flash. It's actually a lot of fun that way; not the most fun I've had, but it's better than most of the tie-in games I've played.

i think batman's really fun to use. he has 5 moves like everyone else...and it's not like some of them are useless. all of his moves are good; batarang, bat grapple, dk combo, flash bang, batswarm. and his combos look nice when executed properly.

i think the best way to play this game is with a friend. it WILL get boring if u play by urself. oh yeah, and keep on playing continued play. i assure u it will be fun until u upgrade everyone to their fullest...well...maybe thats just me.

aside from that...what do u think the sequel should be like? there was nothing wrong with the first one, except it was short..but even that, i dont really care about. the only thing i would really want in this game is a versus mode, and an option to allow friendly fire. how funny would it be to have batman caught in flash's tornado? lol. and...more moves, more characters, more villians, etc. i'm assuming the sequel will be REALLY good.

Of course a sequal would have a better villian roster (Killer Frost? The Key? Queen Bee? What the Hell man!) probably a few more moves, more costumes, and of course more heroes.

They should also add unlockable Kingdom Come outfits.

i never said i used Batman in every misson, i just said i was most looking forward to playing as him, and he was a total let down. Its not even like i COULD mix characters up, since the first half of the game you cant choose your characters, and in the half that i could choose characters i never chose batman cuz he was pretty weak and boring. My characters of choice in this game were superman with GL or Martian Manhunter with WonderWoman. But i have to say though, i cant bash the game in ALL its aspects. The graphics arent spectacular, but they get the job done, great water effects, and fire effects. If they added 2 more powers, characters would have stayed interesting for longer. But heres me hoping there will be a better, longer sequel!Smile

I see where your coming from; I initially had trouble with Bats as well, but after a couple of missions and a few level ups he becomes quite a good character.

yeah thats true. I just beat doomsday and with a level 12 batman with fully maxed combat and every single power with high level boosts, batman FINALLY becomes playable lol. Just a shame that it takes so long for batman to become any good. Well when i play the game on continued play, then i'll be able to use a strong batman on the first couple levels that i never chose him for. Batman also has to be played strategically. Thats what put me off when i first played with him, but i've grown to like it. You cant stand there and exchange blows with huge enemies like superman can. Instead i use some batarangs, disarm the enemies, grapple hook up to him, flash him, and dark knight combo him and that usually is enough to take down large enemies.

I was really looking forward to using Batman in every level but when I actually got the game, I realized it was 2 different characters for every level. I think its pretty good so far so I'm enjoying it. I'd switch off characters from time to time. I'm only on the level with Wonder Woman and Zatanna. My favorite ones to use are Zatanna, Batman, and Green Lantern. Everyone else is kind of eh.

I still don't fully understand the RPG aspect of the game though. The music is amazingly well done too. I hope I can find a copy of them and put it in my iPod.
