JLA Classified figures hit the shelves of Comic and Specialty Stores. These figures are styles after Ed McGinnis and include, Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman.
I passed on these figures I thought Wonder Woman?s thighs were just too big and her face was not that great either. The figures overall are not bad and should fit in well with other McGinnis style figures that DC Direct has released.
Who here is getting these?
Aquaman
Aquaman makes the final blow to the plans of Nebula Man by freeing the mind of Mariner Beryl?s human host.
The Flash
The Fastest Man Alive uses his powers to protect innocent by-standers from the destruction of the rampaging Ultramarine Corp.
Green Lantern
Jon Stewart must overcome his power ring?s weakness to yellow when this impurity is restored by The Master.
Martian Manhunter
Nearly destroyed by the mind-controlled Olympian, Martian Manhunter recovers in time to coordinate the final assault on the rogue heroes.
Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman led the charge against International heroes the Ultramarine Corp who were being mind-controlled by Gorilla Grodd.
I really likt McGuinness on the comic page, but I just don't think that he interprets well to plastic. I thought about getting the Public Enemies figures, but just wasn't very pleased once I saw them. These pretty much fall in the same category.

Yeah, this line was basically an excuse to create more characters in the McGuinness style. That's totally fine, and I'm sure there's a lot of fans of his work that are happy with these. But personally, I'm not big on it. Wonder Woman is too bulky for my taste too. I may get "Public Enemies" Batman and Superman, but that's probably it. Hopefully the bigger McGuinness fans like these figures.

Well I got the Superman/Batman figures. They were OK, but basically all the same body (except for Metallo). Aside from both Superman and Batman needing longer capes, I did not have any issues with them.
