This might be a lost on Stateside BYTB'ers, but the UK's most famous comedy TV program Only Fools & Horses has some items up for auction at Bonhams....
Amongst the things under the hammer are the Batman & Robin costumes that were worn by Del & Rodney on Christmas Day in 1996. It's a moment that has gone down in UK TV history. On it's original airdate, the viewing figures were 22 million! (thats more than a 1/3rd of the UK population!)
They're expected to fetch ?5000. I make that $9200!
The costumes are from a company that specialises in film and TV stuff - there is also a Doctor Who coat and scarf (below - and it was actually reading Outpost Gallifrey from which I found this)
There is also Helen Slater's original Supergirl costume....
There is a lot of 007 stuff, including Conery's ThunderBall dinner jacket.
Also included, if anyone has a spare $100,000, you can go to Star Wars celebration Europe in July, wearing Obi-Wan's original cloak!
