Nice review. I generally don't collect Superman figures either, but this one was cool enough that I had to grab one. Plus, robots & cyborgs are always welcome in my collection.
my friend collects them, were like oposite in comics, he loves Superman and i love Batman. SO i would tell him about it, and he would probably get it! Im waiting for the JL figures from The Batman that suposedly come out in December. (sorry for off topic a lil' bit)
<----Cool Batman

It's been a few months since I've gone into town to look for new figures, and I'll probably pick this figure up if I see him (big if). It's interesting that they starting putting "Comic Book Styling" on the package rather than C3: Select Sculpt - makes a bit more sense I s'pose. The diorama display doesn't look to bad, but unless I had the figure displayed alone, I probably wouldn't use it since it wraps around the figure and tends to isolate him.
