Ninja Bruce To Batman was just the first one. Not only did Mattel reuse the same body mold for a repainted Dual Blade Bruce to Batman they also used it for three Ducard and two Ras Al Ghul figures. Repainting, swapping heads and mixing up the weapons.
SPECS:
The figure stands just short of 5 1/2 inches tall and has 10 points of articulation (head, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips, and knees).
Ducard comes in Brown Shirt and Tan Pants or the Variant in Green Shirt / Grey Pants with arm mountable Sword Blade, Nun Chucks on a Stick and a Sword with a spring loaded hilt.
Ra?s Al Ghul comes in Red Shirt / Brown Pants, Red with Gold Trim Cloth Cape or the Variant in Orange Shirt with Dragon deco and Grey Pants with Black with Silver Trim Cloth Cape. Weapons include the Nun Chucks on a Stick and a Sword with a spring loaded hilt. While Ducards weapons are the same color regardless of figure version the Variant Ras different colored weapons than the normal version.
2005 Ra?s Al Ghul is an all Black outfit repaint of Ducard. This figure comes on a slim Card Back like the 2005 Batman that was a Toys R Us exclusive. This figure only comes with the arm mountable Sword Blade. Unlike the other two versions of Ducard, this one comes with the Shoulder Armor found on the two Ninja Bruce Wayne figures. This is the version Mattel should have released in the first place. It?s said to be another TRU exclusive, but so far I?ve only seen them online from Canada sellers.
PROS:
There is a fair amount of detail on the body and it is an OK figure. It?s well balanced an displays well.
CONS:
Too many versions. The all Black outfit Ra?s and the red ?Ra?s? are the two to get. The Variants are somewhat hard to find, but are found on the pegs if you hunt enough. Articulation is poor. The elbows do not bend to a 90 degree angle, nor do the knees like they do on Battle Gear Batman. Ducard in particular seems to have a larger grip in the hands that either Bruce or Ra?s. The slightly wider gap makes it harder to handle and pose the figure with weapons than it does with Bruce or Ra?s.
OVERALL:
The figure is OK. It has decent playability, and Bruce Wayne / Batman needs a villain to fight. Batman figure collectors will naturally get at least one of the versions. The new all black version begs for a head swap with a Ninja Bruce to get Bruce in an all black Ninja outfit too. Look for these to sell fast if they ever hit the pegs here in the States.

These figures do have a lot of problems. The accessories are just plain stupid, and the reuse of the mold is pretty lazy. Of all the variation mess, I do think the orange tunic Ra's is cool. There's actually a little bit of effort with the black & silver cape and neat dragon design. I have a real craving to customize a couple of these figures, which I mean in a bad way. The likness isn't so great in terms of color, weapons and some sculpting such as Ducard's facial hair. They're worth gettin', but not lovin'.

Yeah, Mattel really dropped the ball on this line. they're still trying to produce figures using the same methods that worked back in the '80s-- extensive mold reuse, sparse articulation, etc. I've been so let down by this line that I actually started to leave Ducard haning on the pegs, once I actually found him. I decided to pick him up when I noticed that the price had been reduced to $4.59.
Oh, a minor correction: that one accessory isn't a nunchaku (nunchucks) on a stick, it's a three-section staff.

Thank You. I figured it had a name, but did not know what it was so I made one up. Mattel does not bother to name the accessories on the Card Back like Kenner and Hasbro used to.

Yeah, that's something Mattel dropped when they switched to using their trilingual packaging. Less text means less clutter. Just another of their annoying cost-cutting procedures.
I think that wqeapon may have a more "proper" name than that, but it is commonly referred to as a three-section staff, so that oughta be good enough.

If you're gonna get rid of the figure names on the cardbacks that's one thing, but why get rid of them only to replace them with a bunch of nonsense number codes? "Mommy, can I have the new blue 'n gray Batman for Christmas? His name is H2378."

So true. How Kenner/Hasbro does a better job on packaging than Mattel does.

Heh heh heh. Nice serial number joke Caleson. I thought that was stupid too. Although Matell did "drop the ball", this line was a big improvement, in my opinion, on the other movie lines we've got. Stupid turtle head Bruces!
