Hammer Strike The Joker

Mattel?s third Joker figure is perhaps one of the most controversial incarnations of The Joker there have ever been. While The Joker (Batman vs. The Joker 2 Pack) in their Animated Series was done in classic TNBA style and Quick Fire The Joker was an instant hit in the Comic Style series, this The Joker has spurred heated debate ever since in appeared.
Rather than put him in a purple suit like nearly every other version, he appears in a Straight Jacket with psychotic purple swirls on the sleeves. His hands/wrists have no articulation and he wears gloves with the finger tips cut off. No dapper shoes this time, as his bare white feet stick out of his long black pants.
SPECS:
The figure stands 4 7/8 inches tall and has 10 points of articulation (head, neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees) and he comes with a large hammer that shoots a projectile.
PROS:
A new fresh look for The Joker, although not one many online fans seem to like.
CONS:
In my opinion the Rastafarian hairstyle is just not The Joker. He stands hunched over and his angled neck forces he head to be turned crooked to either side. The hair also gets in the way of the arms when you raise them way back.
OVERALL:
While he has limited poseability, he does stand on his own, although the large hammer will help to keep him standing. While The Joker has grown on me a bit, I still find it one of the uglier figures out there. I think most hardcore Batman fans will pick up on this figure while some won?t. The Joker has decent playability and as Batman?s traditional villain stands up well with the new The Batman figure.
