Now me and my good friend were discussing on how batman would have any chance againsts the JL. We found that he would have a way a beating all of the JL or in supermans case weekining him except for Green Lantern. I still think batman could find a way in beating him but i cant think of what the Bat would do in a situation. I ask u who would win. We did decide that without the ring he isnt as strong or agial as batman is and that it also depends on which lanten he was facing because each has a different atribute and one might be better in fighting than thinking the situation out ect....soooo would the bat overcome any of the human Green Lanterns or would they all beat him??

i agree. he could wear a yellow suit or use some form of attak that is yellow.....

i think Batman would win because he knows how the Lanterns rings worked and also Batman can move fast enough to avoid getting hit by the Green Lantern, and also on one Justice League Episode he was facing Sinestro and knocked him out with a Batarang, i really do think he could win.

alright i see i never doubted Batman i just didnt see how he would beat him. Now i guess i dont know the lantern as well as u guys do. What the deal with yellow is it like his kryptonite or somthin. |

GL's weakness is that he can't attack and defend at the same time, and as Batman can avoid most of GL's attacks, Batman could easily K.O hime with a projectile as soon as he attacks.

alright i still dont understand what this yellow stuff is all about. My freind made up a situation and told me to tell this to u guys and see if it wuz possible.
Here it is:
The Bat and GL are fighting in a street and its at spure of the moment. GL puts a big dome around both so no one can get in or out. Then GL puts up a wall inside the dome and smashes Batman against the dome now batman is getting pressed against it. Is this possible to make a wall inside the dome. Can GL even make the wall with his ring because it isnt connected to the dome??? If GL does all of this, is he defensless since hes attacking????
^is this a possible situation where batman would lose or not?????
Also i would think bats would do somthing to lessen the chance of GL to see him like putting a smoke bomb or somthing. |

i say Batman will throw a Batarang at Green Lantern and hit him, and while Green Lantern is recovering Batman will try to find a way out of the Dome. |

Since Green Laterns powers come from the individuals will if Batman were to do something to disrupt his concentration he would level the playing field greatly. For example like breaking his arm to disrupt his concentration. |

guys...get real? a batarang would take down the most powerful weapon in the universe? while batman is my favorite hero of all time, GL takes this one. GL has a BIIIIIIIIIG bag of tricks. And if we are going by CURRENT comics GL then batman would MOST likely be taking on Kyle Rayner, and if you guys know anything about Kyle Rayner, you know that his ring is free of the weakness against yellow thing. So batman cant just dip his suit in some yellow chemical lol. And even if it WASNT kyle, and it was a random fight, batman wouldnt have anything yellow on him. What would batman do? beat GL with his utility belt? If GL really wanted to be corny, all he would have to do is stay in flight the whole fight and throw cars at batman, or shoot beams, and other disastrous things, like giant hammers and gloves, eventually batman would go down. Now if batman could find a way to eliminate that by drawing GL to a small, enclosed area, and GL had no space to fly, things could get bright for the dark knight. In a small area batman could keep GL in a frenzy by not allowing him to focus and keep coherent thought(GL's ring only works as long as he can focus and THINK of what he will create with the ring) So if batman could keep the pressure on and throw some smoke capsules at GL, blur his vision, throw some flash bangs, beat down on him a bit, throw some batarangs, some more smoke capsules beat down on him, just keep pressure on GL, then batman COULD potentially beat GL. If GL decided to go toe to toe with batman then batman could do what slade did to Kyle in Identity Crisis, and try to break his willpower. But much like EVERY single batman fight against a certain JL member, it falls upon circumstance, area, and wether or not batman has been given prep-time. I think however, that GL wins this one

why would they fight in the first place?
kyle isnt green lantern anymore, he's ion...i'm not sure what the backstory of it is, but all i know is that he's someguy called ion. the green lanterns right now are hal, guy, and john.

no reason for them to be fighting, just a who would win kind of thing. And yeah i know GL is ion now, i dont know how he became ion, but i guess that makes him the strongest GL now

Anyone pick up GL now. I am not sure if the yellow weakness is still there. I never read anything about it being put back in after Rebirth.
There was an instance in the "Tower of Babel" JLA story where Ra's al Ghul used some of Batman's plans for defeating the League against them. Kyle Rayner was given a hypnotic suggestion in his sleep that he was blind. Since he could not see, he could not visualize what he wanted to create with the ring. Something about his being an artist was in there as well. I don't exactly buy into it, but that is about the only time it happened.
On a one on one fight Batman really would not be able to take down an experienced GL. I can not think of anything that he would have that could penetrate anything that the GL would put out there. Now an inexpereinced GL might have some doubt in his powers or not properly use the ring, then Batman could exploit the weakness and defeat the GL. Otherwise, I just don't see a way.

i see me and my friend have decided the match would have way to many variables for the outcome its depends on many things so there isnt a set winner there is to many things that can affect the battle as darknight said the experience is one thing that could affect it followed by other things.
