I have not picked up the issue, but found some intriguing info online as to who is in the Sinestro Corps. I do not kow who has been keeping up with the GL series, but there are some very important characters that were involved in both Crises that are membes of the Sinestro Corps. One from the last Crisis and an major one from the first Crisis (HINT: He's back). I am not sure what role they play in Countdown, but I think the Sinestro Corps does have some ties to it. I don't want to give it away just yet since the issue has only been out for a week and I don't know who has actually read the comic. |

I picked up the issue last week.
Spoilers Follow
It looks like the Sinestro Corps are run by the Anti-Monitor. The Corps freed the Cyborg Superman and Superboy Prime from their prison on Oa. Also, Ion, Kyle Rayner, was corrupted with Parallax.
It looks like in the upcoming battle Sinestro, Superboy Prime, Cyborg Superman, and Parallax are going to be the Anti-Monitors generals. Pretty cool start up. I am curious to see where things go.

Here is the pic that verifies what I found.
Apparently Sinestro somehow removed Ion from Kyle Rayner and merged the entity known as Parallax with him.
