Well, issue 6 hit shelves this week.

For those that don't get to pick it up here is a brief run down of what happened.

Alex Luthor starts combining the best elements from the Earths to make the perfect one. Superboy and Nightwing arrive at the tower (see TEEN TITANS ANNUAL #1 for Dick and Connors Excellent Adventure). Wondergirl arrives just behind them.

They begin to free the captives from the Vibrational Tuning Fork/Anti-Monitor Tower. The freed heroes and villian begin to attack the OMAC's and recently arrived Superboy Prime.

Batman and the team that Booster Gold assembled arrive at the Brother Mark I satellite. After facing a whole big pile of OMACs they succeed in bringing it out of orbit (the consequences of what happens to it are handled in the OMAC special).

Superman and Superman-2 come to terms with each other and decide that they need to return to Earth-1 to stop Alex. Wonder Woman points to the sky and asks which is Earth 1.

Superboy Prime talks to Alex about how he was trapped by the Flashes in the Speed Force for years, but is now free with his armor modeled after the Anti--Monitors that focuses yellow sunlight on his body.

Superboy vs. Superboy Prime round two begins. The two fight with nothing held back. Connor eventually rans Superboy Prime into the tower destroying it and causing all the Earths to be merged into a single Earth (the event that causes the One Year Jump, I guess).

Connor dies in Cassie's arms talking about how cool it was to save the universe. Batman, Superman, Superman-2, and Wonder Woman stand around the fallen hero and Cassie.

Well, that didn't turn out too brief. As a side note Psycho Pirate and Star Sapphire also died in this issue. I will get a summary and review up soon so you guys can get all the details.

Ok.. how long before Conner comes back??

I say we see him in the nest year. I'm betting he just used his energy all up the same way Superman did.

I didn't pick up Titans, but I keep reading that Robin has some of Superboy's genetic material in the Tower. Could be some kind of plotline where he tries to bring him back.

I have read the character since he first appeared, but I feel that he ought to stay dead. Most of the problems with the DCU were said to be spawned from Superman's death. Superboy is really the only lasting character to come out of that. Steel hasn't been around for a while, I would guess that he is retired. The Cyborg and the Eradicator had both been around for a while before the Superman died. It really puts a good bookend to the era.

What about the idea of Conner becoming Supernova??

I bought TT OYL and IC #6.

Conner's death was something a hero's death is. I somehow had that feeling that somethign was gonna happen to Conner (NOT because of the fact that we knew he would be dead) because he was doubting himself in IC#1, and he was the focus in big IC-related stories like Insiders & the TT Annual.

As for your DNA question:

Robin seems to have his own Batcave under the Titans Tower. (Kinda explains the new costume, does it?) He is using Luthor' DNA and Superman's DNA to recreate, for the 97th time by #34's time, Superboy.

If this is what's gonna happen, here's what I believe will happen: if a exact clone of Superboy is created, with him at the age where he died, he won't remember anything and Tim and Cassie will try to help him RE-remember everything. And then Conner will have head pains once dark moments (Luthor) pop up. And theres a 50/50 chance Conner's feelings for Cassie will be intact. Basically, trying to bring Conner back 100% will be the concern of the TT if that were to happen

You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

The clone of the clone having Connor's memories depends on which type of comic science that Johns uses. I don't remember how exactly Luthor was cloned originally, but he was the same person memories and all after he was cloned.

I don't think that I am that big on that story. It really diminishes the effect that this Crisis had if they bring back one of the major characters that they killed. Just have to wait and see I guess.

IC 6 was a great issue, alot of things were finally starting to come together. And although it didn't add to the plot at all, the scene between Mr.Terrific and Black Lightning was a nice little touch.

Teen Titans OYL makes me think that Wondergirl is going to get even more *censored*ed at Robin than she already is. As much as she loves Conner, I don't think she'll be too thrilled to find out what Robin is up to especially now that she's alot harder.

Scientists on Luthor's payroll used his DNA to grow a new body for Luthor, then his brain was put into that body.

Anyway, great issue, as usual. I really liked seeing all the alternate earths, including the one on which the Tangent comics took place. This is the first time Jim Lee has actually done a better cover than Perez, something I did not think was possible. After the surprisingly awful covers Lee has done for most of the IC issues, I guess he was due. This issue's cover is undeniably awesome. They need to make a poster of it, pronto.

Those are quite a change from the original solicited cover:

I just figured that something would be added to this one, but those are really cool. Hopefully, we'll get the issue in the next couple of weeks.
