Where can i get the issues of 52 from the begining or will there be eventually a graphic novel on 52. I also saw that there was other graphic novls that led up to infinate are they requierd to understand what happens in infinate. I started working on a list of things from the Infinite Crisis from Identity Crisis through 52, but it is going to take a while. If you follow the short list below it will catch you up. Not everything is necessary, but should cover every story detail

Basically start with Identity Crisis. Then find a copy of Countdown to Infinite Crisis, that my be difficult, but I think that it was reprinted in a collection. This spins off into 4 miniseries, OMAC Project, Villains United, Day of Vengeance, and Rann/Thanagar War. The only one that Batman is involved with is OMAC Project. You will also need to pick up a couple of Superman comics and an issue of Wonder Woman for the full OMAC Project Story.

After the miniseries end, Infinite Crisis begins. You can pick up the recently released trade, but apparently there have been some changes made between the comics and the trade.

Once that ends 52 begins. DC has stated that 52 will not be collected until after the entire series has been released. SO you would have to wait until August 2007 or so before you can read the beginning if you can't find the early issues. You can try to dive in, there are lots of sites that are doing a weekly round-up of events in each issue, or you can ask someone.

I am sure that I missed something, but that would really get you as caught up with Batman stuff as we are at this point. Batman has not appeared in 52 yet. They guess he might be in there before the end of the 2006.

I technically included the "Sacrifice" arc in my post, I just blanked out on the issue numbers and the name of the story. Thanks for looking that up. Wasn't it collected in a trade, just in case the issues are hard to find?

The Infinite Crisis Companion is helpful, although not entirely necessary. It contiues the stories of the 4 tie in title (Rann/Thanagar, Omac, Villans, Vengeance) with all 4 one offs that tied into IC during its run.

I'm hoping one day DC will make a collection, or collections, of all the IC tie in issues from other books.

They should really do some Absolute or omnibus edition with everything showed chronologically. There are a lot of crossovers, but it would be possible to narrow things down to the major events.

The the oneshot Infinite Crisis specials are really good, but the only one that I would say is necessary is the Villains United issue. The others cover major events and are worth buying, but are not absolutely necessary.

imagine in 20 years "infinite crisis and 52, the aftermath absolute omnibus" in four volumes
that wud b a jewelry, i wud definitlybuy them

just like i did with crisis in infinite earths, just the difference i'm living the history, if i had born 8 years later i wud have living the history but i was born in 1990, but the good thing is that my dad bough knightfall saga and the death of superman saga, and i inherit them! so will my children(better not talk 'bout children with my girlfriend or she sill have a heart) with infinte crisis

Actually, Superman 219, Action Comics 829, Adventures of Superman 642, and Wonder Woman 219, better known as Sacrifice, take place between OMAC Project 3 and 4.

So, if you buy trades, you need to stop in the middle of one, read another, and then go back to reading OMAC again.

This is one of the most important storylines for Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman going into Infinite Crisis. The events of Sacrifice have a major bearing on events in Infinite Crisis #1.

Have you read about the changes that they made for the trade. They even changed the spread at the end of issue 7 to THIS.

There were several changes to the dialog that added references to Earth 2. The more I think about it, the more it upsets me that they are forcing people who bought all the issues (I bought both covers as well) to buy the trade so that they have the added dialog.
