This is a must-see!!! It's absolutely hilarious how Smith recounts in comical deadpan fashion his unfortunate involvement in the ridiculous vision of a new Superman movie in the late 90's. This was the Tim Burton/Nick Cage era of the project development. It's a 20 minute storytelling of his meetings with Jon Peters and other studio execs that will have you rolling at the absurdities. Thank God this film never came to be and we instead have Superman Returns to enjoy. I encourage DC movie fans to watch this clip. And don't stop until it's over. The "punch-line" at the end says it all about how one man's misguided vision could ruin a good thing. Please watch and enjoy!

Very good videos. I always love hearing Smith joke around and say what he wants. I was hoping to hear him talk a little more about the demise of the Superman film idea, but that was still quite satisfying nonetheless.
I like Tim Burton's work, but over the past few years, I've started realizing how selfish or unfaithful some of it can be to source material. Smith made some great points.
