o well i wasn't much for Superman Returns movie anyway so idc, i personaly i thought the superman movie was more towards a chick flick rather than a action superhero movie. They could have done a better job with the first one.
Alfred- Why do we fall Sir?.........So we can
learn to pick ourselves up.
Bruce- You still havent givin up on me.

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT. I jus found this out thanks to Superman Homepage.
The website found out that Variety's claim is false, with Warner Bros. and Bryan Singer reportedly on track to start filming the sequel to "Superman Returns" around March of 2008 as previously planned.

So don't worry, its coming out and nothing's stopping it.

More proof:
Robert Meyer Burnett, who produced and directed behind-the-scenes material for Superman Returns, says that March, 2008 is the planned start of principal photography for the sequel. A Q&A on BlueTights.net reads:
Angeloz asks if I'm coming back to work on the sequel. The answer is...I'm ALREADY working on the sequel. Bryan, Brandon and the whole merry bunch will be coming back...and filming will probably begin March, 2008, as was always planned from the beginning. The WWII film Bryan plans to shoot over the summer will have NO EFFECT whatsoever on the Superman sequel schedule.
Doesn't sound like there will be any kind of delay, as was suggested by Variety.

Everyone on Superman Returns has talked about the lack of action in Superman Returns and even say they should have added more. Routh has said there will be more action scenes in the 2nd film.

Here's update from Film Ick
Apparently, Singer and Mike Dougherty have crafted a killer pitch and 'concept draft' that had the suits eating out of their hands and even had a knock-on effect for the plans for JLA (I'm told). Several key story points were made clear by the pre-production conceptual art, and here are some SPOILERY details of what those images revealed:
There's a new Kryptonian character coming to Earth as a result of Supes' pilrgimage to Krypton that took place before Returns.
Lex makes a deal with "a new villain" (I read this as new to the films, not new to the mythos, and indeed I have some idea who it is...) in order to have Superman eradicated. This villain double crosses Lex and takes over Lexcorp (yep - sounds like Brainiac to me too). What's more, Jason is a key part in the plot to trap Superman and...
To read more, hit the link. This sounds really great and I am hoping it's true.. BUT, where did LexCorp come from?? To date, there is no LexCorp.
Anyway.. sounds good..

The previous movies didn't mention anything about LexCorp. They didn't even imply Lex being rich, just resourceful. Maybe he creates LexCorp from the money he inherited from Superman Returns |

UMm, okay guys here is the case: this "pitch" we've heard is actually the pitch for Superman Lives, 10 years ago. That's why this thing doesn't make alot of sense. So treat as a rumor, or a possible sequel idea, but not the real deal. Okay?
