?X-Men? producer Lauren Shuler Donner tells Coming Soon that she?s already eyeing off another comic book that?s ripe for the big screen treatment.
"It's a DC comic. It's for Warner [Brother's]. It's 'Metal Men' which is much more like 'Men in Black'. It's miles away from 'X-Men'. It's lighter and it's fun. A lot of CGI. That would be fun for me to try a whole did kind of comic."
Like ?The Justice League? and ?Watchmen?, the ?Metal Men? were a group of heroes ? they?re essentially a bunch of robots, created by an inventor, who face prejudices about what robots are supposed to and aren?t supposed to do - who banded together to fight evil. In their case, they fought everything from an antediluvian winged creature to their continuous antagonist, Chemo, a hefty human shaped figure overflowing with noxious chemicals.

This could be a pretty cool movie. The few times that I have read appearances of the Metal Men they have been entertaining. This may also be the only time we get to see a DC superteam on the big screen since logistics keep getting in the way of things like JLA.
