Mittens, an actor is only as good as the script he or she is given to read so if you make it good enough I still think we could have someo of the actors that played these parts before in the JLA movie maybe even if it is to speak one like or a non speaking cameo such as Noel Neill did in Superman and Jack Larson in Superman Returns

I had an idea of the guy that plays as the main character on Flashforward to play as Martian Manhunter... Any thoughts?

It may work for Marvel, but not DC. It just doesn't fit. I think the only good cameos would be Richard Donner since he started Superman's movie franchise originally...

Btw, here's my current casting...

Superman - Tom Welling
Batman - Christian Bale
Green Arrow - Sam Worthington
Flash - Kyle Gallner or Aaron Ashmore
Green Lantern (no choice on casting) - Ryan Reynolds
Martian Manhunter - Joseph Fiennes

A small Aquaman cameo might be included...

For villains it would be Metallo (Will Schuester), Lex Luthor (not crazy about casting, he has to be in his mid 30s), and somebody else... Any ideas?

Like the casting TM, I would pick Kyle Gallner for GL as Aaron Ashmore might be too well known as Jimmy Olsen from Smallville...as for villians do you want each villian to go with a specific hero because I have a few ideas.

That reminds me, I would like to have an Atom cameo as well. He wouldn't have the powers yet and he is a scientist working for the military with some sort of super soldier project to turn the army into "supermen." I would like him to act a lot like Bruce Banner (be a runaway character later on, wears a gray hoodie, etc). Here are some ideas for casting him...

Eddie Cahill
A.J. Buckley I
Ben McKenzie (whom I think would work best)

Superman: Tom Welling
Batman: Christian Bale
Wonder Woman: Milla Jovovich
Flash: Ryan Reynolds
Green Lantern Kyle Rayner: ???
Aquaman: Sam Worthington
Martian Manhunter: Doug Jones (Voiced by Laurence Fishbourne)

I know Reynolds has already been cast as Hal, but this is a fantasy castlist so I'm using him for Flash. As far as Jovovich, I know she's kinda flat chested but she makes up for it by being totally kick ass. And there's still the 14 year old kid in me who wants to see Welling in the Superman suit, so he's my pick for Supes.

As far as the use of Rayner, that's because
A: I grew up in the 90s and I always thought Rayner had the coolest costume EVER.
B: the studio would want ethnic diversity, so rather than going with John Stewart, who would seem redundant with hardasses like Bats and Arthur in the team; I'd go with Hispanic-American Rayner, who would add a rookie element to the team along with ethnic diversity.

Raz this would be my cast (might differ from my original)

Superman: Tom Welling
Batman: Christian Bale
Martian Manhunter: David Boreanez
Green Lantern (John Stewart): Laurence Fishburne
Wonder Woman: Christina Ricci
Black Canary: Drew Barrymore
Atom: John Cho
Green Arrow: Kiefer Sutherland
Aquaman: Justin Hartley
Flash: Aaron Ashmore

Now for some villians:
Joker: Willem DeFoe
Sinestro: David Hyde Pierce
Cheetah: Megan Fox
Solomon Grundy: Kane (WWE)
Lex Luthor: Kelsey Grammer
Gentleman Ghost: Hugh Laurie

I adore Christina Ricci, but I think she's just too short for Wonder Woman. Ricci's 5'1" Vs. Wonder Woman's 5'11.

As far as villains...

Lex Luthor: Kevin Spacey or Michael Rosenbaum.
Riddler: Johnny Depp or Hugh Lurie
Cheetah: Rosario Dawson
Sinestro: Jackie Earle Haley
Black Manta: ???
Braniac: voice of David Hyde Pierce

And supporting characters...

Lois Lane: Christina Ricci
Alfred: Michael Caine
Nightwing: ??? (Cameo)

Thanks Phil, I see we think alike...God help the world there's another person like me LOL

Okay Raz I concede Christina Ricci as Lois, so how about a black haired Charlize Theron as Wonder Woman, Depp for Riddler, I still think Hugh Laurie with his accent for Gentleman Ghost , instead of Dawson how about Alana DeGarza as Cheetah, Brad Garret has the perfect voice for Black Manta (who knows he might look good in the suit too).

As for Nightwing, how about Shia LaBeouf in costume on his motorcycle or something like that.

David as Brainiac is a good idea, Depp as Riddler is always a good choice, David B could work as MM as could the Sinestro choice but other than that, the casting really doesn't work. Btw, why do you guys want John Cho as Atom so badly?? He doesn't even fit Atom's description.

Hey man, there's no need to concede a point here. It's dream casting, so if you truly want someone for somethign go for it! I'm just adding my ten cents.

Charlize is a great choice for Wonder Woman.

I'll stick with my choice of Rosario Dawson as Cheetah, I guess I just really want to see her practically naked wearing nothing but fur... embarrassed

I dunno about Brad Garret as Black Manta, being as Black Manta is... well, black.

How does John Cho not fit the description of a young asian-american college professor?

Oh. I was talking about the original Atom (whom I think would be best to begin with in JLA).

Sorry Phil, most white people can't tell the differance between China and Japan, let alone China and Korea.
