I'm still going to pick this up. It had some pretty good episodes like the ones with Superman and Green Lantern. Lost Heroes was fun to watch since it brought everyone together.
Its too bad it won't be released July 7th like all the other Batman movies. Oh well, July is still the month of the Bat. |

This cartoon was and is still great. I had faith in it when a lot of people didnt. Some people where still hung up on TAS that they couldnt picture another batman cartoon. The Batman surprised a lot of people. I will be adding this dvd to the rest of my THE BATMAN dvds.

The show was OK. It is more "kid friendly" (for the most part) than B:TAS, which remains may absolute favorite Batman animated version.
I have all the released TB seasons, which my 4 year old LOVES. I still won't let him watch certain episodes, though. I'll add this fifth one.
Sum Nox!

The series got better over time. I remember watching the first ep thinking.. wow.. this sucks. And to this day, the first ep isn't the best. The best season was 4. 5 was ok, but I really wanted to see more of the Batman & Robin relantionship first.

Season 4 was the best. The writing was the strongest and it was The Batman's "darkest" season.
The first three seasons were kind of campy and light, season 4 felt a little more mature after the introduction of Robin, and season 5 returned to a lighter, friendlier Batman. |

Yea season 4 was awsome. I got all of The Batman seasons so I'll pick this up, But for once could they get a good DVD cover for this. I mean they could haave at least put a pic of Superman on there. Crapy cover indead
"Somebody's got to help him. Might as well be me."

Yeah, that is a pretty lame cover. They could've gotten more creative with that one.
I'll probably pick this up, I have seasons 2 and 4. I missed all of season 5 thanks to my satellite provider not giving us the required network. So, I'll have to decide which season I think is the best until I see this one, but as far as the first four seasons go, 4 is definitly the best. Hurray for square chins! |

Yeah, The Batman Vs. Dracula is awesome. Probably my favorite Batman animated movie, very dark and just has a great mood. What about Mask of the Phantasm?...well...get ready for it...I haven't seen it.... |

I'll probably pick this up since I'm a HUGE Batman Fan but this show was not as good as I had hoped. I do have to agree that it did get way better in it's 4th season, that was nice. I don't mean to sound negative because I do actually like it. it's just after TAS nothing can compare!
I am really looking forward to the NEW Brave & The Bold!!
