I should point this out: this thread isn't a Comic Con related thread, although every info listed below is from it as it was announced there. This is for people who may not know alot about the upcoming fourth season or want to know whats coming to come here and know and see whats coming. Thats the purpose of this thread. It shouldnm't be related to the Con.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The Everywhere Man will be voiced by Brandon Routh.
- Dick Grayson's father will be voiced by Kevin Conroy.
- The new villians to appear in the fourth season is: Harley Quinn, Killer Moth, Black Mask, The Everywhere Man, and Clayface II (Matt Hagen).
One episode will be a future episode set in the year 2027. What will be shown is: Batman and the Batmobile in their DKR (Dark Knight Returns) versions. Barbara Gordon will be Oracle. Dick Grayson will be Nightwing. Mr. Freeze in a future freeze suit.
In the season finale, Batman will team up with a the JLA member who is Martian Manhunter.

Revealed on 7/27/06:
"My favorite one to work on was probably the Harley episode," producer Jeff Matsuda said during a panel at Comic-Con International last weekend. "Paul Dini wrote a great script, with a lot of humor -- black humor, of course. I just love the character."
In other The Batman news:
* Veteran voice director Andrea Romano joins the show this season and brings some other guest-stars: Kevin Conroy as Dick Grayson's father, Brandon Routh as Everywhere Man, James Remar as Black Mask, Jeff Bennett as Killer Moth and Dorian Harewood as Martian Manhunter.
* The producers said this show will be more "comics fan friendly."
"The whole universe widens to the end, where you'll believe that Batman is ready to join the Justice League," Alan Burnett said. (blinker says "YAY!!!!!!"
* A story will take place 20 years in the future. Images of a Dark Knight-ish Batman, Oracle and Nightwing were shown.
* The two-part season finale will deal with an alien invasion.
* Other writers will include Doug Petrie and Jane Eppeson from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Steve Melching and Stan Berkowitz, who is writing the origin of The Riddler.
* Producer Michael Goguen was that the show include the beginning of Robin.

It appears Nightwing has no mullet, hurray!
Anyways, the future Batman looks a little too dark to get a good look at him. I'm looking forward to that episode. I love stuff when it's about futuristic things, in most cases.
Harley looks pretty good, nothing really to complain about here.
Sounds like we got a great season ahead of us. Can't wait.

Ooh!!! That sounds awsome!!!! I can't wait to see it.
I love that they're going to have nightwing and oracle, even though I like Babs better as batgirl.
I don't really like the dark night thing though. I hated that episode when they did it on TAS. And the red head with the ugly glasses as robin irritates me. She's not going to be on there is she?
Robin looks like he's about 6 years old in the new season! How old are robin and batgirl suppose to be?

I doubt Carrie Kelly will be in it since they didn't mention it but that doesn't mean she may not be in it. Its up in the air.

lol, well batgirl is in highschool. and assuming that robin and batgirl have a love affair, i think robin's gnna be about the same age, a year, or 2 years younger or something. or maybe there wont be any romance at all, who knows.
my guess is....batgirl is 15 and robin is 13.

Exciting stuff. Harley's design hasn't been tampered with too much it would seem which is good since the character is perfect as is.
This season looks good, if only Ellen Yin would return then I'd be totally happy.
The future episode obviously is one to look forward too in addition to Harley, but the third thing I'm most interested in is Black Mask. He should be quite interesting, he'll stand out in The Batman since he doesn't have powers or any over the top signature of any kind. He's just a crime boss, something TB doesn't have yet.
More comic-fan friendly ehh? Well as nice as that sounds, and as enticing as season 4 seems to be, I'm hoping that this doesn't mean they're backing down and giving into fans.
Wasn't the whole point of The Batman to do something different and shake the Batman universe up a little with new ideas, new designs, new stories etc.?
Hopefully it won't just become The Batman: BTAS, because then it won't be The Batman anymore. The show has it quirks, and its those quirks that fans of the show have grown to like.

I should also say as well that Evan Sabara, who voices Robin in this season, sounds almost identical to Scott Menville who played Robin from Teen Titans.

nice, robin looks really good in that collage. i know its cool that we're seeing all these new characters, but i also wanna see batman. lol. we've seen him before i know, but i wanna see how he looks with the square chin.

From those Harley shots it would appear that Harley is gonna get one of those The Batman "dress up" sequences that Batman, Batgirl, Joker, and Catwoman have had. Those have really grown on me.

Harley really does sound great, much younger but still very her. Hyden Walch is becoming one of my favorite female voice actresses.
Sounds like they've got some good voice acting for the new characters all around, which is to be expected snce Andrea Romano is like.....voice casting god!
Gahh...September can't come soon enough.

I just read on the internet that Flash is going to be in an episode of season 4. Probably the one with Martian Manhunter. I don't know he's going to have a speaking part though.
