here's something funny. james mardsen played burt ward/robin in "return to the batcave: the musadventures of adam west and burt ward"

this episode looks good. i'll bet it'll have a lot of good animation sequences.

rolleyes - So Firefly turns into Dr. Phosphorous?

BYTBConfused - Ok...the episode was pretty good I guess. Nothing spectacular to set it apart from the excellent metamorphoses of Killer Moth. Just another "Guy plays with chemicals and turns into meta-human". At least the Killer Moth episode had a better storyline.

7.7/10

I liked the episode very much. I didnt like however how they made up a new villan, cuz now they just killed another, and Firefly is gone. They shouldve at least had it be sum1 else, not Firefly, but anyway, i like the new guy still and love his coustume. Oh and i was blown away when i saw Batman's Lead lined suit, it was too cool! With the red eyes, and all the black and no half cowl but full mask! It was the coolest! BUt i didnt see another following episode coming? Is season 5 OVER? I dont think so, its only been few episdodes or is it because 4Kids are taking over and they have to move it? Well just give me what u can! Thanks

I wanted to see Phosphorus, but I wasn't real happy how they did it.

Here's his Comic bio: http://www.batmanytb.com/bios/villains/d/drphosphorusbio.php

^ Thanx, Chris...he's sorta like Blight was on BB, eh? I'd heard of him but when I saw the episode...I was like scratching my head and saying "Did I miss something?" I didn't know Firefly was Dr. P".

Its one of the liberty things writers take...its cool. The episode was entertaining.

Blight was based on him, but at least they came up with their own name.

I didn't know Phosphorus was a character in the comics. My thoughts were "Now I have a reason to like my Knight Shadow Batman figure. His costume can be made of lead!" And "this is what Batman would've done in the first season of Heroes. This is how he stops an exploding man."

It was nice to have a non team up episode. I was beginning to think that all the stories for this season were Brave and Bold type team up episodes. What I've always liked in the cartoons is the way that they manage to adapt comic stories into the show. This was handled pretty well. I've read the first couple Dr. Phosphorus stories, and the change from standard mad scientist story.

I was mainly just glad that they didn't do the Charaxes story.
