The Flash is coming to Gotham City and not a moment too soon. The Mirror Master has arrived with a nefarious plot to trap everyone in their own mirror image.
The all-new episode of "The Batman," entitled "A Mirror Darkly," airs
November 3 at 11:30 a.m. ET/PT as part of the Kids' WB! lineup on The CW Network.
The Flash is voiced by Charlie Schlatter ("Diagnosis Murder"), while
five-time Emmy Award winner John Larroquette ("Boston Legal," "Night Court") embraces the villainous tones of Mirror Master. Steven Melching wrote "A Mirror Darkly," which is directed by Christopher Berkeley.

it looks like batman stole superman's role of showing guest stars. i remember watching STAS, hoping to see green lantern, flash, or aquaman. but now, batman has all the guest stars.
can't wait to see all of them working together. i wonder what/who they'll be fighting.

mirror master's mask shows hair, and he has a lady sidekick/henchwoman! i'm not used to seeing him with his hair hanging out like that, but i'm okay with the sidekick.
i like barry's design. the logo and the wing things on his mask look very barry-like. haha very barry.

THE BATMAN – 505 – A MIRROR DARKLY
PLOT:
The Flash comes to Gotham when the Mirror Master has some plans of his own that leads to a team between the Dark Knight and the Scarlet Speeder.
REVIEW:
I just wanted to make it clear: I did not miss “White Heat”, I made the decision to review only the Brave and the Bold team-up episodes only and not the non-ones. So to recap only “Vertigo”: a good episode because of its animation, action, and everything except for Vertigo’s plan in the end. Now with the Flash; like Green Arrow, he appeared in a cameo in Season 4’s “The Joining”, but there was a question of which Flash it was under the mask: was it Barry Allen, going by Alan Burnett’s comments, or was it really Wally West? Or is it going to be like what the plan was for Robin in the Teen Titans animated series where it’s a combo while it’s obvious who it is really. Let’s check it out!
A jewel location is being robbed by Batman, until the real Batman & Robin show up fighting the impostor since the fighting skills are similar to the Dark Knight’s. Escaping, Batman & Robin lose him, but unknown to them, he hides in a mirror. After learning the false Batman was left handed, Batman & Robin head to a plant where it seems to be robbed by Flash, who fights the Dynamic Duo, and escapes again. The real Flash appears in the Batcave and learns that it’s the Mirror Master during the crimes.
Since Flash has appeared in both Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League/Unlimited, with Mirror Master appearing last in JLU, it’s not surprising to look here to their versions in TB and compare them back to their appearance in the DCAU. Same was for Green Arrow last time, Superman wasn’t because…….he just wasn’t, for me anyway. But there was a question if we should compare this Flash to the DCAU version because Alan Burnett has said that this Flash is Barry Allen, not Wally West like he was in the DCAU. I mean he does mention his base of operations is Central City, which is Barry Allen’s hometown, so it might be Barry. Hey, Alan Burnett says it’s Barry, it is.
As for how Flash and Mirror Master was like in this episode, and their versions in TB; Flash is a very funny character, which is ironic because the DCAU version was somewhat funny at times but I for one never laughed like I did watching him here. He talks a little too fast and eats fast too. I gotta say; this Flash I liked moreso than the DCAU version. I know that there might be some people who wouldn’t say that, but that’s how it is for me. As for Mirror Master; we don’t get a lot of him at all, despite his mirror models of our heroes. I thought at first that he was going to suffer because Count Vertigo wasn’t that good of a villain in the Green Arrow episode, but Mirror Master wasn’t that. In fact, while his plan was farfetched, I had to remind myself that this was someone with a mirror motif and with suspending disbelief (a common thing you have to do) his plan made sense. So he didn’t suffer like Count Vertigo.
Overall, this episode was funny filled with action. Flash and Mirror Master were handled well and……yeah, Alan Burnett said its Barry, it must be Barry. Thinking back, I kinda don’t want a repeat of what we were thinking back in the JL/JLU days before the “Starcrossed” episodes: where we said “it has to be Wally, but it could be Barry”. While it is not said in this episode, Central City and Alan Burnett’s comment, it IS Barry Allen….has to be.
RATING: Yay
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.
(crack!)
And I'm the surgeon.

Unlike most others, I like Batman in the "Batman World," devoid of ALL other heroes and largely limited to Gotham. I am not much for the superpower/otherworldly stuff, preferring them trying to make the wacky Batman stuff seem realistic, viable, and logical.
(THE MAIN reason I liked BTAS.)
That said, I liked today's episode, this one was good. It made internal sense and played with Flash's innate abilities in a nice and funny manner (like his metabolism and high speed pacing).
The "glass villains" was kinda dumb-> as in WHY did they not bust when hit? Fleshy feeling or like glass (hard and cold)?
Sum Nox!

This Mirror Master was much more a threat than the JLU one...he was a joke. This episode was pretty cool, the Flash was straight in his 1st episode of the Batman. Nothing spectacular but good.
8/10
