Kyle MacLachlan is providing the voice of Superman in Justice League: The New Frontier, the direct-to-video animated movie based on Darwyn Cooke's DC Comics series.

MacLachlan, 48, is perhaps best known from Twin Peaks and as Orson Hodge on Desperate Housewives. His dozens of credits also included Sex and the City, Showgirls and The Doors.

Him?!?! I've seen him on Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives. I'm not sure he could pull off the hero.
