Want to see the animated version Darwyn Cooke's masterpiece earlier? Well you can! Wondercon '08 will host the world preimere of the DTV a mere week before its DVD release.
Here are two paragraphs from the article at the Wondercon website:
It's the decade-spanning story of the dawn of the DC Silver Age interwoven with the American and world history from the end of World War II, through the 1950s and up to the dawn of JFK's own "new frontier." It tells the tale of the birth of the new DC heroes, including Flash, Green Lantern and the formation of the Justice League of America. Along the way, we meet some of DC's other period heroes, the Blackhawks, the Challengers of the Unknown, and the original Suicide Squad, as they stand alongside the company's mainstays, Superman, Batman and Robin, and Wonder Woman.

Justice League: The New Frontier has its exclusive world premiere at WonderCon, February 22-24, at Moscone Center South in San Francisco. The DVD goes on sale nationwide in the first quarter of 2008, sometime after WonderCon. Both creator Darwyn Cooke and executive producer Bruce Timm are special guests at WonderCon 2008.
I like to note that maybe it's a strong possibility that because they mention the Blackhawks, Challengers of the Unknown, and Suicide Squad that they are in the film version.

Yes you did. That is because on New Frontier, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman will wear two "eras" of their costumes, both reflecting the Golden Age and Silver Age. That explains it.
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.
(crack!)
And I'm the surgeon.
