As the new Batman, Terry has all the high-tech gear and gadgets he needs, plus Bruce Wayne's research skills and instincts. Taking down criminals like The Jokerz, Shriek and Curare is a grueling battle of wits and will require a hero's abilities. But with each fight won and each victim saved, Terry grows more confident in his role as Gotham's guardian. I had forgotten how good this show was until I picked up Season 1. I'll definitely be picking this up when it hits stores. |

Still haven't gotten around to getting season 1 yet. $72?!?!!! Is WB nuts?? That means it'll likely be no less than $50 at Wal-Mart or Deep Discount DVD. And I'm sick of WB skimping on the extras. 26 episodes, and we only get commentaries on 2? If Fox can give us Simpsons DVDs with commentaries on every single episode, WB can damn well do it, too.
I could never seem to catch this show when it was on the air; I think I've seen maybe a dozen episodes total. Will this set have the Ra's al Ghul episode on it? I've been dying to see that one since I found out it existed.

Very cool. Typically the prices are between $30 and $40. The first season was probably listed just as high, and I haven't paid more that $40 for any of them. Since they have finally started to put the set out at a decent pace, it won't be long before we can get the entire set of the good cartoons.

Toonzoen posted the news on the BB SEason 2 set listed at $44.98. SO that would be the real price.
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

The extras are pretty skimpy... But I'll definitely pick this up when it drops in price. I think I missed quite a bit of episodes, so it'll be nice to fill in the gaps. Excellent 'toon, it was.

Nah, you've got the "S" in "MSRP" in there. That counts :p
I'm afraid I'm in the minority, I don't really feel like I'm missing anything with few extras. In fact, I'll often forget they're on a disc even when there are good ones there... |

I never watch extras unless there's a gag reel or deleted scenes.
I have every Beyond episode on DVD anyway, I recorded them all from Cartoon Network on my VCR, and then used my computer to put them on DVD. I love the JLU episodes, Warhawk is such a cool character |

I guess in all honesty, I usually go through all the bonus features only once. But still, the extras are somewhat of a hallmark of the DVD. They gotta load that baby up with cool stuff!

I've not seen any of season 2 BB - but I think season 1 was fantastic!
Before I'd actually seen any BB, I was a little uncertain how I would feel about it (new Batman meets Bladerunner didn't overly appeal), but it took me about 2 minutes to realise it was genuinely excellent.
Well pleased Season 2 is coming out!
