The Batman got picked up for a 4th season according to LOG.
woohoo!!!!!!! This season has been really good and I really want to see what they do in season four! Perhaps some characters will return as well, like.....YIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and hopefully we'll see Harley, a fifth season isn't typical so they should bring her in just in case we don't get a season five (with Teen Titans it was lucky that they got a fifth season)
If anyone from the TB crew is out there, Yin and Harley please.

A four season sounds nice. I would just hope the episodes stay at least as good as they currently are, or maybe get a little better. They haven't been fantastic really, but good.

According to the Continuum, The Batman will return to the network this summer with 26 new-to-the-network episodes.
Hmm......since they reported this along with Ultimate Avengers 2, Iron Man and Teen Titans: Tokyo, which were all right. Right as in the correct infomation. It makes us think.
1) Of course; is this true? Although Comics Continuum isn't wrong and wasn't in this case. Its still up there on our minds.
2) Does this mean Season 3 is over because they only announced the new episodes as in the fourth season and not the last two?
3) If theres still two more, then does that mean 24 new ones with the 2 technially part of season 3. Or...is the two last sea. 3 episodes now part of season 4 now?
4) 13 each season since season one back in 2004. Now we know fo 26 episodes. Is this both season 4 AND 5?
5) For the producers, writers, etc of the show: 26 instead fo 13? WHAT'S PLANNED??!!!!

Im definately thinking that its menas that seasonS 4 and 5 are being made and season 3 will probably be done by then

I believe on this: either
a ) 26 episodes for season 4 is the beginning of them expanding the seasons and their plans beyond 13 episodes
or
b ) 13 each of those episodes are for two seasons: 4 & 5. And since shows since days go up to 5 seasons, this may be a way of ending the show quickier.
Either or. We don't know.

The 26 episodes probably means season 4 and 5.
When the show first started it got renewed for a second season, and in the press release it said that they ordered 26 episodes for the second season and that Batgirl would come into play. Well, it ended up being season 2 AND 3, with Batgirl comin in season 3 but still coming in during those 26 episodes.
Whichever way its done, I'm still excited to see what king of stories and characters they bring in.
And hopefully the final two season 3 episodes will air soon, they're out there somewhere.

I made a mistake. "return to the network " meant Cartoon Network. As in Cartoon Network will air Seasons 2-3 this summer resume TB on their channel. Sorry guys. At least we've narrowed down when the last two of season three will air.
