Missed the first half of "Pets", but I thought it was neat. The Penguin, with very silly dialogue as usual. I thought it was a bit much when Langstorm had to explain every little detail to himself about what The Penguin's doing to him, but Penguin's funny reply made up for it. It seemed pretty action-heavy, which is common for The Batman I guess. Maybe a little bit more of a break from it here and ther would've helped. The racoon chasing was cute, and the sidekick joke was a nice way to end it.

"The Butler Did it" was pretty good overall. Real nice intro, although I don't understand how Alfred could've been running from Batman if he actually did steal that item from the manor (all apart of the illusion?). The little hypnotic jingle that played throughout the episode got a bit tiring, but seemed fitting. Just so Halloweeny I suppose. And surprisingly we get yet another episode where Batman needs Alfred's help to take out the villian. I'm okay with that once in a while, I just hope it doesn't get too excessive. I'd like to see more with the Spellbinder, he's basically got Scarecrow's hallucination abilities, and then some.

I didn't like either of these episodes that much.

"Pets": Man bat under control of the Penguin via an electric whistle. Interesting plot, but not executed well. This episode makes me tiresome of the Penguin's continued presence in almost every episode of The Batman...his angry banter @ his birds not being good enough was idiotic....the raccoon bit was RETARDED.

I rate Pets - 4/10

"The Butler Did It": Spellbinder appears with awesome mind powers. What does he do with these powers? He uses them to trick people into stealing "trinkets" for him.

meh.

Another good plot shot down with poor writing. A person that can make himself float and have control over other peoples minds would be after much bigger game in my opinion. It was a boring episode with a silly ending...The Batman writers can do better than this...I know they can. My least fav episode so far.

I rate "The Butler Did It" - 3/10

Yeah, of the episodes I've seen these were of the lesser kind, but I didn't think they were that bad. Could've been done better though, without a doubt. I agree that Penguin is featured too much, and that Spellbinder's abilities were oddly demonstrated. I was just surprised no one did a Talkback about 'em. I must've logged in early.

pets was the worst S2 episode in my opinion but it wasnt all bad

the butler did it was the secong worst episode but it also wasnt all that bad. it was kinda boring but really intersting at the second time. the main reason i didnt like it was because of the music, it was pretty weird. the whole thing was pretty weird but really good. the scene that i thought stood out was the part when they're fighting on top of the roof and batman was about to punch alfred but coulnt and then alfred punched him.

I was expecting The Butler Did It to be alot better, considering the only review for it I read was at World's Finest (I probably should'nt have tursted them anyway since I disagree with like every review they have)

ANywho, The Butler Did It was interesting but it could have been ALOT better I agree.

Pets, its the same as last time they aired it, I like the new Man-bat and Penguin's Finch is now my favorite minor character (its just so cute)

I find it odd how the bat thingy managed to get Langstrom all the way in Arkham but I guess there weren't any other bats at all within range. I mean, was it on a super high frequency or something?

Penguin is beginning to get on my nerves I have to admit, especially since he's always the badguy guy you laugh at. His first appearance I liked because the story was pretty good, he had a reason for the stealing, but now he's getting old. It doesn't help that he shows up so often.
