Hello
Does anybody here have any info on this book binder?
Its has many black and white drawings and a few color ones.
My friend who gave me it says it is rare. This binder has over 100 pages of info, logos, backgrounds, and such.

here are some pics
Any info will be great!

Sorry, this is a first for me, too. Looks like a great book, though.

Me too. I've not seen that before.

The best book I can think of about Batman TAS is the Dini/Kidd hardcover simply called Batman Animated; with all the fold out pages and storyboard images. It's a beauty. I've literally got piles of books on Batman and that one is RIGHT up there amongst the very best. Off top of head I dunno if these are from there (I'll have a look later).

I've not got the animated series guide (there is also a straight up Batman guide and a Beyond Animated Series guide) & looking at these pix (& also considering the other guides I can picture that arent Batman), I think these are probably out of there (at least the colour ones - they don't really do b&w)

Whatever it is, it looks more like some sort of pre-release promo.

Nice item (& obviously with your friend giving it to you you wouldnt wanna sell it)

yesyesno ?

My guess:

That was a binder prepared for animation teams during the production of the show. I remember reading that there were animation model books and a writer one with history, details, and things relevant for writing episodes (a writers bible). They may have been the same thing.

It looks like you got your hands on one. I am VERY jealous, as I want one (have for years) but have never actually seen one.

Not much, maybe a couple of dollars. Seeing as you're a good guy I'll gladly go up to $5.

PM your email and I'll Paypal money over.

If that MacWage chap tells you it's worth $6 it's total b******s. That's the sort of low down dirty trick we've come to expect from our friends north of the border!

What else would I expect a bottom dweller to say . . .Joker3

he got it off a friend who works at WB.

What I expected (see my ID post).

Well, I'm not really a collector for value. I want a copy for informational purposes.

Heck, if whoever HAS a copy would scan one into a computer, make a PDF from it, and sent me a copy, I would be "happy as a clam."
(HINT! HINT! HINT!)

As for collector "value," who knows.
(Plus, shipping to Britain can be a bugger. South Carolina is MUCH cheaper.)

I have wanted a copy for years, for the information inside. A copy of a copy is fine by me.
In ALL honesty, I'd LOVE a scanned copy (if you could).

Hustler!?!

And the things we've done for..................

Funny enough, at time of previous post, I was also yahoo messaging my mate in Aberdeen. I emailed her the link to this thread - she had some (how I can put this) tasty views on my take of the friends I mentioned in my last post!!

I'd share them here MacWage, but if you take the swearing out she didnt actually say anything! She's actually a bit of a poet, but you really wouldnt have thought so about an hour ago!

That book is probably worthless and worth a small fortune, depending on what one is willing to pay.

I can't really afford too much. BUT, I promise a good home, where it would be used as something other than a "collectible on a shelf."
Like I said before. I'd be happy with just a pdf scanned version.
IF I get it, I'd be more than happy to pass along the info at no cost (as long as DC/Warner doesn't threaten a lawsuit).
Heck, if want to ebay it, send it to me to scan and I'll send it back for you to sell for whatever.

I think you should donate it to the site so we can have all the info.. Smile I don't have any idea how I missed this but it looks like what the creatoers used for the show so the other artists would know what each character looks like.

I agree it looks like some sort of BTAS Bible. It would have been used for the show by writers, artists and other production people. It was not meant for the public, but these things get out in the collector market from time to time. It’s in a Ring Binder and retail books are never in such binders, although I’ve seen some of that artwork in other books.

The cityscape looks like it’s from Batman Beyond not BTAS and reminds me of Card Back art for some of the Batman Beyond product.

It’s worth whatever somebody will pay for it. It’s a rare undocumented piece and a nice collectible.
