First Batman pic looks odd but then again it could blow me away when I actually buy the DVD. I'm really looking forward to the Deadshot short.

yeah, when i saw that one(the madhouse one with the overly anime-fied bruce wayne with long hair), i was a little disappointed...but when i saw it in action in that 10 min preview, i changed my mind. lol. but still...i dont think anything can beat that deadshot one.

nah, i'm just assuming. but the long haired bruce looks very madhouse to me. looks similar to death note, which by the way ROCKS. it's one of the few animes that i actually like.

I just learned this:

IGN did an interview with Bruce Timm, Darwyn Cooke, and Gregory Novack on New Frontier and Gotham Knight at Wondercon. And Novack let it slip, revealing one of the voice actors, or THE voice actor, for Batman in Gotham Knight. None other than Kevin Conroy!

It wasn't an article, it was a video interview. You can watch it, or dl it, here:
http://media.dvd.ign.com/media/142/14221172/vids_1.html

It's the one that says WC 08: Video Interview, with Bruce Timm on it.

Umm, if you look at the press release, they do mention the two other projects: Flash and Green Lantern. The two Timm couldn't talk about might be them.

flash and green lantern...i like i like. i wonder who of the flashes and green lanterns they will be. i'm hoping for wally and kyle.

and it's not that i like japanese voices for anime, it's that i've never heard a japanese batman before. dont you guys like new stuff? lol. there are a lot of things anime has that western animation doesn't; it's a shame they're only doing the visuals in anime art direction. the use of japanese music and voicing could have easily made the feel of the segments more exotic and weird.

but seeing that it will only be anime in appearance, this will definitely be more batman than anime. which is a good thing for the most part. it'll please the fans...i believe.

There is a deepness and power that many Japanese men have to their voice that is hard to find in America... Vincent Volaju from Cowboy Bebop the movie is a great instance. A voice like that would be awesome for Batman. Too bad there only doing American.
