1st off, on both Wednesday, July, 15, and Monday, July, 20, 2009, Hollywood Die-cast posted some info and pictures on some recent wave of Hot Wheels 1:50 scale Batman Vehicles, with this wave including the Batman Begins Tumbler(In orginial Desert Camo colours), and the Superfriends Batmobile. Here's the link to the Hollywood Die-cast website, and look for the dates and article titles " 7/15/09 - 1:50 Scale Bat-Vehicles " , and " 7/20/09 - 1:50 Scale Bat-Vehicles " :

Next, I wanted to mention that the Hot Wheels Collectors Club has done some updates. 1st off, for San Diego Comic Con ( SDCC ) 2009, Hot Wheels will be having a The Dark Knight 2 Pack, which will feature both 1:50 scale verisons of both the Batmoible/Tumbler and the Batpod. What's interesting is that it looks like this verison of the Batpod will as feature a Batman figurine on it. Here are 2 links from the Hot Wheels Collectors website for info and pictures on this:

As well, Hot Wheels 1:50 scale Batman website has updated to include Wave 4 pictures, which includes the Batpod ( No Batman figurine ) , Batwing from the 1st Tim Burton Batman movie, and a battle damage/bullet holes verison of the Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series. Here are 2 links from the Hot Wheels Collectors website, with the 1st from the Hot Wheels Batman site, and the 2nd with pictures of the Wave 4 vehicles:

Forgot to mention that the SDCC 2009 The Dark Knight 2 pack may also be offered at the Hot Wheels Collector Club after the SDCC 2009 event.

I found a 1:50 Batman Begins Batmobile in tan camo Tumbler colors from Series 2 at a TRU today. Still have not seen the Super Friends Batmobile, '89 Batiwng or TDK Bat-Pod yet though.

The photos from SDCC show that Mattel has a Batman Forever and Batman and Robin Batmobiles in the works. Also shown were Batman Forever Batgirl Cycle and Cocoon version of the 1989 Batmobile. At last I will have all the film Batmobiles in the same scale (other than 1:64). If they just make them in 1:18 I will be in Bat Heaven.

I was lucky enough to get some of the 1/87 Batmobiles and some of the new 1/50 from Eddie diecast and Milezones.com before they sold out.

All of them are very nice

I forgot to mention Milezone.com has a pre-order for a 1:43hotwheels 1966 Barris Batmobile. Apparently comes in an acrylic case and apparently quite detailed. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated

Well, not Batmobile news, but Bat Vehilce news, so I thought I put it in this topic. According to Hollywood Diecast on Thursday, September, 3, 2009, the person of the site stated that he bought the Hot Wheels 1:12 scale die-cast 1960's T.V. Batcycle. I don't think I was even aware of this. Here are some links for more info, with the 1st to the main site for more info ( Look for title 9/3/09 - "Disengage Go-Kart!" ) , while the rest are to the direct links to his photos:

The 1:12 scale Batcyclle is sweet but we really could have used it in 1:18 scale so it could be displayed with the Batmobile.

Of course Mattel could make a 1:12 Batmobile to go with it and that would be cool too.

That looks great! I know where I'm going this weekend. I just finally got the 1:18 Batmobile through Amazon.com this week, as I never found it in the stores. Now I need to find this new addition, of which I was unaware.

Some updated news from Hollywood Diecast website a while ago. 1st off, for the Hot Wheels Batman 1:50 scale vehicles, both the Batwing and Batpod looks to be out now, for back on Sept. 17, 2009, he reported that they were showing up on eBay. The photos seem to indicate that either the 1:50 scale line will be undergoing a package change, or that some vehicles maybe be using a different style packaging. Here are the links from Hollywood Diecast, with the 1st to the main site ( Look for the date and title "9/17/09 - Batman Returns" ) , and the rest a direct link to the photos from his site:

- http://www.hollywood-diecast.com/batman%20bat%20pod%20HW%201%2050.jpg

As well, both Hollywood Diecast on Sept. 23, 2009, and Big Bad Toystore ( BBTS for short ) around Late August 2009 reported that there will be a newer verison of the Hot Wheels 1:18 scale Elite 1960's T.V. Batmobile, this time done in Matte black, and it's a Limited Editon. It's so far listed as a pre-order for a release in late 2009, and it's done to celebrate DC Comics 75th Anniversity. It also seems like the item will have an special DC Comics 75th Anniversity packaging as well, according to BBTS. Here are the links, with the 1st to Hollywood Die-cast's photos, and the 2nd to the BBTS site for info and photos:

- http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=MAT11862&mode=retail

Finally, Marcus back on August, 5, 2009 reported that there is suppose to be a Hot Wheels 1:43 scale verison of the 1960's T.V. Batmobile. BBTS has posted a pre-order with pictures, but unfortunally, it seems the photos are both the 1:50 and 1:18 scale verisons, and not the actual toy. That said, the release date seems to be November 2009. Here's the link to pre-order:

Aside from the fact that the Mattel Batmobiles SHOULD have been 1:43 scale and NOT 1:50 scale to begin with, I don’t really see the point of making one now.

The 1:50 1966 TV Batmobile that Mattel released was a disappointment. It had the antlers curve outward and not straight up as they do on the real car. I hope they fix that issue on the 1:43 model.

Back around November 2009, the Hot Wheels Collectors website reveiled what the 1:18 scale Commemorative 1960's T.V. Batmobile done to celebrate the 75th Anniversity of DC Comics. This verison of the 1960's T.V. Batmobile is done in shiny Silver, with about only 3000 produced. Here's the link from the Hot Wheels Collectors website for more info and pictures of it:

As well, the Batmobile History MySpace site back on December, 30, 2009 posted info that there is an Elite Verison of the 1:18 scale Batmobile from the 1989 Movie. Here's the link:

That chrome 75th Batmobile looks a little dumb. They should have done in Black Metalflake or something else

It will be part of the 2010 New Models lineup ( Yellow Banner ) . That said, in the U.S., it will be Car # 42/44 , while Internationally, it will be Car # 49/52. Here are 2 links from the Hot Wheels Collectors site for a listing of all the 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Basic releases, with the 1st for the U.S. listing, and the 2nd for International:

That's cool that Mattel is taking care of the latest generation of Batfans with the newest Batmobile...and of course make sure those of us that have been Batfans a long time have the newest version
