Despite their easily scratched surfaces, and plastic casing just about as brittle and weak as Halle Berry's Catwoman, Compact Discs were a significant step up from the tap rolling that was Cassette. Through CDs we have seen numerous Batman releases. Not only fantastic musical scores and semi-decent movie soundtracks, but adventure stories as well. They were the first place to hear Wayne Static perform a song for Batman Beyond, and possibly the last place you'll hear those ridiculously silly songs performed by the 1960s Batman cast.
