Lasting only for a brief time, this format is relatively uncharacteristic of the term "longevity." Laser Discs were an attempted upgrade from VHS, much like CDs from Cassettes. These, however, were somewhat large in size, similar to that of a Vinyl Record, and surely not as cheap. Nevertheless, Laser Discs still found a marketing gap for the Caped Crusader with a small scale of movie and animated series releases, all of which can be found right here.
