WB Buys Majority Stake in Rocksteady Games
Posted by cdemink on February 23 2010 20:29:55
In a move heralded by some as a continuing sign of increased synergy between DC Entertainment divisions, Warner Bros announced today that they had purchased 68.4% of Rocksteady Games based just north of London in Highgate.

Rocksteady are of course the developers behind the wildly successful Batman: Arkham Asylum game (and its future sequel). They now join Midway Games and Snowblind Studios in Warner's portfolio of game developers that has been expanding steadily since their first series of investments and acquisitions in 2005.

So its safe to say that WB are VERY happy with Arkham's performance and we can probably look forward to more games even beyond Arkham 2 in the future.
