BATMAN BEGINS STUNT SHOW
Explodes Into Action at Six Flags Magic Mountain
Saturday, June 25, 2005

VALENCIA, CA - The legend of the Caped Crusader explodes into “live” action Saturday, June 25, when Six Flags Magic Mountain debuts the new Batman Begins Stunt Show based on Warner Bros. Pictures’ highly anticipated film Batman Begins.
The Batman Begins Stunt Show offers an explosive behind-the-scenes look at big Hollywood stunts and special effects. Inspired by the movie, the Batman Begins Stunt Show explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Caped Crusader’s emergence as a force for good in Gotham City.

Spotlighting the top stunt professionals in Southern California, the 25-minute live stage show features state-of-the-art pyrotechnics, sound, lighting and special effects, highly technical stunts, karate fights and a spectacular, never-been-done-before jump featuring the brand new Batmobile.

“We are pleased to be able to bring the excitement of the movie and the Batman Begins experience live to Six Flags,” stated Del Holland, Six Flags Magic Mountain vice president and general manager. “This is the most elaborate stunt show we have ever developed here at Six Flags Magic Mountain and it’s sure to be a big crowd pleaser.”

Playing several times a day throughout the season in the Batman Action Theatre, the Batman Begins Stunt Show set features spectacular 45-foot-tall facades of Wayne Tower, Gotham National Bank and City Hall, plus exciting show elements including motorcycle chases, crashing helicopters, ninja stunts and a first ever look at the new Batmobile.

BATMAN VS. CATWOMAN: CATFIGHT

Batman vs. Catwoman: Catfight promises non-stop action and special effects. Acrobatic cast members descend from the skies, engage in intricate hand-to-hand combat, and land breathtaking, high falls. The show features cutting-edge technology like Segway™ Human Transport vehicles (two-wheeled, self-balancing personal transportation devices) and Batman's iconic Batmobile. The elaborate set includes a realistic city street with working water fountain, ascending and descending hot air balloon, water tower and runaway elevated train.

The plot features Catwoman and The Joker in a power struggle for two cat's eye rubies, stolen from Gotham City Museum. The Joker challenges Catwoman's desire for the beautiful gems with his own evil plot. Batman and Robin must stop The Joker from using the rubies to power a laser that will control Gotham City.
