Unless you've been living in a (bat) cave, it's hard to miss Batman's indelible impact on the world's pop-culture. From the moment Adam West's 'theater of the bizarre' take on Batman burst onto the small screen in the 1960's, Hollywood has been in love with the image of the Dark Knight. Although the ABC series would last only a few years, the Batman character would live on for decades on the boob tube in countless skits and cameos ranging from Saturday Night Live to Scooby Doo!
Whether it's Adam West's surreal caped crusader, the animated exploits of the Justice Friends or the more modern brooding Dark Knight, Batman's image has given Hollywood's television writers plenty of material to work with. This section does its best to catalog these appearances. Try as we might, we can never possibly get them all though - so if you have any suggestions of something we're missing let us know and we'll do our best to hunt it down!
