PLOT:
Frankenstein and the Agents of SHADE converge on the Dark Side club and find none other than the Question waiting for the inside with the corpse of Boss Darkside - the mortal shell recently vacated by the evil God appears to have been left in a partially mumified state. Although the Question escapes SHADE before she can be apprehended, Frankenstein and the other agents stand in awe as a what appears to be a glowing computer cursor begins writing the words "Know Evil" on the wall before disappearing.

Outside, Renée Montoya is stopped in her tracks when Earth-10's Supergirl comes crashing down from the heavens. Badly burnt and beaten, the Third Reich's superheroine tries to use her last breaths to warn them of the "bleeding skies" but she dies before anyone can translate what she's saying. While the crowd stares at the fallen meta, Renée Montoya is taken into SHADE custody.

A recently unemployed and increasingly perplexed Nix Uotan stops to watch a television news report. All across the world scientists and archaeologists are discovering Metron's symbol all across the globe.

Back home after his exhausting run through time and space, Jay Garrick tells Iris that her husband Barry is alive. After chasing the Black Racer's bullet backwards through time, Jay witnesses Orion's death but falls out of the time stream while Wally continues on.

Libra takes Human Flame to the abandoned Hall of Doom where he gives him the Anti-Life helmet. The helmet, which is constantly streaming the Anti-Life Equation into the mind of the user, turns Flame into a drone almost immediately. Lex Luthor arrives and challenge's Libra. Libra in turn gives Luthor two options - either swear an oath to the Crime Bible and lead the Secret Society or have his free will forcibly removed along with the rest of the world.

Superman hasn't been responding to emergency calls for the past eighteen hours while Clark Kent waits by Lois's hospital bedside. A female Monitor arrives in Lois's hospital room and offers Clark the chance to save her - but he must leave "New Earth" immediately!

As Hal Jordan is escorted away by the Alpha Lanterns, Wonder Woman and Alan Scott discuss their sinking suspicions that the Evil Gods are behind all of this chaos. Despite the fact that they have not been able to find any trace of their energy emission patterns to indicate their presence. Batman is missing, The attack on Superman's loved ones and Hal Jordan's mysterious memory lapse on the night of John Stewart's attack all seem too much. Alan suggests calling into effect "Article X" - a super hero draft put into place back in the days of the Justice Society and President Roosevelt. Wonder Woman agrees and Alan immediately begins drafting heroes from Supergirl, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Huntress and even the new mysterious Aquaman!

Across the globe, Sonny Sumo and Shiloh Norman are preparing to leave Japan when their jet explodes and they are attacked by soldiers wearing the Anti-Life Helmets. Suddenly the Super Young Team shows up on the scene and helps them escape.

Wonder Woman has made her way to Blüdhaven and tells the Atomic Knights on duty that she plans on going in to the city. Once there, the Knights explain that Command D was a gene research lab which has been taken over. High-dollar top priority projects on gene manipulation (like those resulting in the pony dogs they ride in on) mean that while Uncle Sam wants the site secure, an air raid or any large explosive smash-and grab is out of the question.

Wonder Woman and the Knights stumble upon the mutilated corpse of SHADE soldier Replika and soon find themselves face to face with the killer herself - Mary Marvel! Corrupted by the power of Darkseid and her appearance modified in the "flesh farm" in the Command D bunker, Mary Marvel kills the Atomic Knights and starts battling with Wonder Woman. Mary Marvel exposes Wonder Woman to the Anti-Life virus and she immediately falls to the ground ill as her body begins to mutate in order to becomes the disease's carrier.

While Barbara Gordon sets herself up in the communications hub for the new Article X army she and the rest of the world receive an email which begins downloading and opening itself automatically. The Anti-Life Equation has just been sent out to every email address on the planet Earth! Barbara panics and she and Mr. Terrific attempt to pull the plugs on the entire internet before the Anti-Life Equation can finish downloading itself across the world!

A sudden explosion of light and Barry Allen and Wally West come speeding out of the time stream a few weeks into the future. Standing underneath a blood red sky outside of Libra's strip club headquarters, Wally and a puzzled Barry observe a world over-run with evil. While Barry wonders why he has been brought back from the dead if not to save Orion, a mutated Wonder Woman, Batwoman and Catwoman approach them riding on pony dogs with only one objective - "Superheroes. Kill."
