PLOT:
Vandal Savage fights Wildcat and his son, who can turn into a real wildcat. Savage gets the better of both of them but is finally stopped when he is hit by a fire truck. It was Savage who was trying to kill the descendants of the JSA. With their end he would have control of history again.

In Blue Valley, Flash, Cyclone, Stargirl, Starman and Power Girl fight members of the Fourth Reich who are trying to kill Pat Dugan and his family. They defeat the villains.

In Philadelphia, Hourman, Liberty Belle, Green Lantern, Hawkman and Damage fight Fourth Reich members trying to kill Libby Lawrence, the original Liberty Belle. Without checking for bystanders Damage sets off his atomic power. Belle is caught in the blast and is hurt but survives. One of the Reich pulls off Damage's mask revealing a severely damaged face. Hourman and Belle see his face but encourage him to keep fighting.

Later at JSA headquarters, Mr. Terrific has stepped down as chairperson because of his duties with Checkmate. Green Lantern, Flash and Hawkman ask Power Girl to take over and she readily agrees. Dr. Midnite is still taking care of Nathan Heywood. He has begun to regenerate his missing leg but it is made of metal. Sandman has had a nightmare showing someone trapped in a crystal ball with others. Obsidian's comment is that she's dead and Huntress isn't on their team. The former FBI partner of the deceased Mr. America was fired when his bosses found out he was America's contact in the Bureau. He finds a spare costume in Trey's desk and dons the mask. Wildcat introduces his son to the JSA.

In Gotham's Arkham Asylum the guards are being attacked by ghost images of Legion of Super-Heroes villains. A doctor tells them to contact Batman. In Dr. Destiny's cell he has Dream Girl from the old LSH chained up. It is her nightmares attacking the guards. She wonders where Star Boy is.
