PLOT: Batman, Geoforce, Sandman and Starman arrive at Arkham Asylum where the JLA/JSA have tracked one of the Legion flight rings. People are being carted out of the asylum after their nightmares began coming to life. The cause of this is Doctor Destiny who is using a semi-comatose Dream Girl (Legion member) as a conduit for his powers. When the heroes enter they are attacked by the Arkham inmates' nightmares - different versions of Batman. Starman finds Dream Girl being held by Dr. Destiny. He says the Legion wakeup word he used on Karate Kid - 'Lightning Lad'. This wakes up Dream Girl who is able to stop Destiny. Cyclone, Red Tornado, Stargirl and Superman travel to the Fortress of Solitude where two Legion flight rings have been detected. Superman has one on display that belongs to him. He has a life-size display of the Legion and in the display Cyclone notices there are two statues of Wildfire. When Superman says the wakeup word 'Lightning Lad', one of the statues, the real Wildfire, wakes up and anti-energy is ejected from his costume. Batman's utility belt comes with it. Wildfire says something about 'the storm'.
