PLOT:
Courtney Whitmore is just your regular everyday teenager. She deals with everything a normal teenager would. From the good (her best friend Mary Marvel), to the Bad (braces) and the awkward (her simultaneous crushes on both Billy Batson and Atom Smasher!). But on top of it all Courtney Whitmore is also a super-hero and sometimes being a seasoned veteran of the Justice Society of America has it’s downsides. For instance – last week her birthday was completely overshadowed by Black Adam trying to destroy the Earth.

Luckily for her the Justice Society has always been more than just a loose allegiance of crime fighters - it's a family. And after returning home from school one day she opens up the door of her house to find the entire group inside waiting for her! The JSA, the Heywood clan and Courtney's own extended family all pile into the living room to wish her a happy belated birthday. Even Starman (who has never heard of birthday presents before) gets into the act! Everyone reflects on their personal interactions with Stargirl and with one another and Stargirl is quite surprised to find that her teammates view her as a teacher.

A loving family, a cool superhero gig and even a new Iphone from her parents all serve to make this a birthday celebration she'll never forget. Now, if only those braces would come off! Oh well, there's always next year.
