Rita is reading her tarot cards and 'sees' that the friends have gone far away to try and restore the world to its normal state. The Dreambound and other villains have begun an attack on Opal City to retrieve Rita for the Dark Trinity. Charity does a reading for Rita and sees death in her future.

The Justice League has been sent to Alcatraz to stop the Dark Trinity's agents from releasing its only prisoner. Before they can succeed they, and all available heroes, are transported to Metropolis to save the city. T.V.M. is opening more temporal rifts which are destroying the city.
