I never said i liked it I was just ticked off that BB didn't show how smart batman was, what i said was that the worst batman movies are BF, B&R and, BB see i'm hot-headed i lose my temper alot i never liked b&r back then i just lost my temper i hated the last three live action batman movies but i was so ticked off so i wasn't thinking straight when i'm enraged i can't decide things that well things have been worked out in psychotherapy and new medication so i'm a lot calmer now and these batarang ratings are my final verdict. so now you understand what i meant i always hated the last three live action batman movies as well as the sixties one it's just i got the order screwed up.

You mean other than the fact that he single handedly outsmarted Ras at the end of the film. You know, when he had Gordon destroy the monorail while he distracted Al Ghul by making him think he was trying to stop the train, and managing to destroy the breaks while he was at it.

That was smarter than anything he did in the Schumacher films and Returns, and rivals the smartest stuff he did in Btas. Finding out what chemical The Joker is using is nothing compared to manipulating an incredibly smart and perseptive individual.

I haven't seen any of the animated shows but here's my ratings for the major Batman movies that I've seen:
Batman - 4/5
Batman Returns - 3/5
Batman Forever - 3/5
Batman & Robin - 2/5
Batman Begins - 5/5
I loved the Michael Keaton/Jack Nicholson pairing plus with Tim Burton directing, I didn't think anything was going to be better, especially after the mediocre titles that came out afterward.
Batman Returns was all right but I just didn't get into it nearly as much as I did the previous movie. Nothing bad, but nothing great either.
Batman Forever I liked a lot at the time. I'm huge fans of Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carey and I think they played their characters pretty good. Once again, nothing bad, but nothing great.
Batman & Robin...need I say more? I'm not gonna crap on it as much as others but the movie was pretty horrible. I think out of all the crap in that movie, the thing that ticked me off the most was their interpretation of Bane.
I'm glad they decided to wait to make any more Bat movies as it looks like they took their time and really tried to make a great movie because I LOVE Batman Begins. Christian Bale is my new fav Batman and I can watch that movie forever, lol. I have high expectations for the next movie now as well. |

Begins... Where to begin. It had the most three-dimensional characters, best cast and crew and coolest gadgets of any of the Batman movies. The characters weren't just faithful recreations of the comic characters, they were living breathing characters.
For the first time, Batman was portrayed as a hero at the climax of the film, let me explain; at the end of 89 Batman he was mostly fighting The Joker for revenge and saving lives was a side task, at the end of Returns he was just trying to get his girly back and once again saving lives was treated as a side mission, at the end of Forever no one other than Batman, Robin and Bats' girly were involved, and in B&R He was portrayed so badly it's hard to beleve he was trying to save lives as opposed to just thrill seeking.
At the end of Begins saving lives was what he was there to do and every thing that was personal was a side task. And oddly enough the one where he was acting the most selfless is also the one where he was most determend.
The only thing they didn't do with this was show of any world class physisist skills, acording to Bat-Man(the creator of this thread) that makes Batman a retard, even though it's obvious he's the smartest Batman of all the movies. The reason why he has no mad physics skills is probably because he hasn't gained them yet, He's probably going to learn a lot for Lucious Fox between this movie and the next.

Batman Begins 316/5
Everything Rahzwurz has said epitomises why this is such a great movie. Batman and Bruce are shown as characters that are true heroes as well as dark vigilantes. This is a film with a PLOT unlike any of its predeccessors and many of the other favored superhero flicks. Enough has been said of this perfect film. I'll move on.
BATMAN 1989 3/5
Quite good. But it just still annoys me that Burton was more interested in the ghosts and goblins and creepiness of Gotham City rather than the hero of the tale. And another thing. BATMAN. DOES. NOT. KILL.
Batman Returns 2/5
While Keaton's sanity was questionable in the first film, in this dark, glooming, tale, he is a remorseless, psychotic, vigilante killer, that makes his own rules. The over-rated Michelle Pfeiffer plays Catwoman in much the same way, and brings nothing sexy whatsoever to the role. Don't even get me started on the Penguin.
Batman Forever 2.5/5
This film could easily have been the best of the original films, except for Schumacher's direction. Under Schumacher, this film looked like something out of a Japanese anim?, with a whole lot of homoeroticity thrown in. Setting that aside, Kilmer gives a savagely under-rated performance as Batman and paved the path for the magnificence of Christian Bale in the later film. Chris O'Donnell gave a great performance as Robin, too, amalgamating elements of all three Robins. Nicole Kidman is the best love-interest to date. She is a real, human, character, in this strange, illogical, fantastic world. Her chemistry with Kilmer is unparallelled in any of the Batman films.
In spite of everything good about this film, I have to take away 2.5 points because of Schumacher's bizarre direction and the lunacy of Carrey and Jones' 'villain' performances.
Batman & Robin 0/5
Every single copy of this film that has ever been sold to a consumer should be launched into the sun. There it will mutate into a hideous Nuclear Man. The sheer magnitude of its crappiness will cause this creature to travel back in time to 1987 and ruin the previously magnificent Superman franchise for twenty years.

i saw the whole movie that didn't seem smart to me also what made him look dumb is destroying every thing in his way when driving the tumbler and being caught on camera/tv the comics Batman or BTAS Batman or Tim Burton's Batman would have thought of someway to escape unseen and unnoticed

What are you talking about Michelle Pfieffer is the best Catwoman ever. Her Catwoman is a hot sexy lustful sensual and erotic goddess. bondage girl full of lust she's practically Aphrodite/Venus.

I just dont get it.
You are the only one i know on earth who thinks BB is a bad repersention of Batman.
I own Mask Of The Phantasm and it was good. But thats it, just good as in the same level as The Batman vs. Dracula & Subzero. |

Even worse, he's a hypocryte! He says the main reason he dislikes Batman Begins is because it "Is unfaithful to Batman: Year One", and yet 89 and MOTP are much, much more so.
