The cases suck, but I always put mine up and leave the DVDs in a carring Case.. makes it easier.

For them to be stolen? Just kidding.
I like to have mine on a book shelf makes it easier to find when I want to watch something. Except when I have been gone for while and my wife has been watching stuff. She has a tendancy to let the movies lay where they fall. Drives me crazy. I think I have obsessive compulsive disorder or something.
I hate the flapper (cardboard) cases as well. Since they are releasing the cartoons in plastic cases, it might be time to upgrade from my VHS copies.

I'm with you, Darknight - my DVDs are all organized, and it 's irritating when someone else leaves them anywhere. The cases aren't as big deal for me, since I work at a media supply place...I can buy a box of regular DVD cases for cheap, and just swap them with the poorer cases. |

Beyond, you should update the The Batman vs. Dracula cover. A new one came out, as well as the back.

You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

I actually prefer Widescreen simply because it's the entire view, and nothing's left out. Full Screen is slimmed up to fit the screen. I don't care much for the black bars either, but oh well. Just gotta watch 'em on a big screen.
I gotta get me those Special Editions. I love watching all the Behind the Scenes type stuff of great old films (and the crappy ones too I suppose).

I think I?ll buy them in the box set. I bought the others in The Batman Legacy Box Set so I?m glad they have a new set coming out. I hope somebody like Best Buy does some kind of exclusive with the Box Set and has figures or some other collectible included with it.

Does anyone know the aspect ratio of the widescreen box set? 1.85 is ok with me but i don't like 2.35 it just seems slimmed down too much

yeah DrCrane mkaes a good point, i dont mind WS if its 1.85 or something around there, but when only a third of my tv is being used it bugs me lol. but like i said, its really not a big deal and worth it if i can get those special bonus features. |

I have it on VHS (two tapes) and I also bought the DVD. I've watched about half of them (the second VHS tape is still sealed). It's OK, but you have to remind yourself when it was made and how movies and serials were made way back then. Some of the older serials done during or after World War II tend to be a bit more racist by today's standards.
