Wow, that's too bad, R.I.P. Eddie. My prayers go out to his family.

I don't follow alot of wrestling but I was familiar with Guerrero. My prairs go out to him and his family, it is too bad for he was pretty young (38 I think....)
"I went around the world, searched in all the shadows. And there is something out there in the darkness, something terrifying, something that will not stop until it gets revenge... Me"

I guess for anyone that's been a longtime fan of him, we can be happy that he did have pretty big success these past few years and reached the peak of his career. I remembered him as a Cruiserweight division wrestler in the late '90s, so that was pretty cool to see him climb to the high ranks like that (though I never got to see him on Smackdown!, where been's been the past few years). I wonder if Batista's gonna be going into surgery and rehabilitation for his injured back. That could really damage Smackdown!'s roster even more.
I was reading the history page they did on him at WWE.com. I didn't know Batista and the audience sang Happy Birthday to him after their title match at No Mercy, I'd love to see that. And that is a great way to end your career, given the unplanned situation like this. I think I could see ol' Latino Heat going down as a future WWE Hall of Famer. ?Viva la raza!

Oh man, that is so sad, when I used to watch it in the good old days (wen it was known as WWF), he was one of my favourites!!!

i originally just posted my thoughts in the general wrestling thread we already have. but now that i think about it i wish i had started a seperate thread and im sory i didnt, but glad batboy did.
anyway, now both tribute shows are done with and both were presented very well, you could really feel the emotion and i myself felt quite a bit choked up. ive already ordered the dvd that cmae out last year so hopefully i can check that out later this wk. i encourage anyone who hasnt seen it to go ahead and grab it as its very good and eddies story is one that definitley ought to be told. a true inspiration for us all, God Bless you Eddie, thanks so much for all your entertainment thruout the years. Rest in Peace.
