In also every forum, I always hear that people want Robin and/or Batgirl in the sequel(s) to Batman Begins. While that won't happen, they continue discussing it. Wanting it. But what I can't believe is that we always talk about those two, when in fact theres a bunch of the Bat-Family that may have more substance for this type of film series.
What I want is Huntress. Reason? Well beyond the fact that I love her and hate the fact that she's fantasy, and I have to live with reality: she's more on the same page, or close, that Batman is on. She's from a mob family that she didn't know much about her father's business, and a rival family killed them and she saw it.
Thats similar to Wayne because a while a mugger killed his parents, it was the mob that took over and ruined what his parents worked for.
Now from that, Helena would've been so scarred that she would go and plan her revenge. The weapons, skills & tactics. Then when she hears about a "man dressing up like a bat and fighting criminals", that did the last piece of the puzzle for her and thus created Huntress.
It fits.
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.
(crack!)
And I'm the surgeon.

Good point Nate, but would Huntress be a hero or villain? The DC Comics Encyclopedia lists her as a Vigilante. She seems to skirt that line a lot. While Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing are clearly heroes.

batman is sort of a vigliante, but not in batman begins. if huntress ever appears in any of the batman begins movies, im sure she'll be a hero. she has like the same story as batman except shes a girl and her dad was a part of the mafia.
i think huntress wud be perfect for the movies. good call Nate!
but i still think theyre gnna make batman solo....forever....until nolan stops

She is a anti-heroine.

thats a good point Nate, truthfully i never thought of that, i mostly blocked out the image of batgirl and robin in nolans universe out of my mind. it just brings back too many memories of the nipple days
"I went around the world, searched in all the shadows. And there is something out there in the darkness, something terrifying, something that will not stop until it gets revenge... Me"
