Right, I get that you don't like Batman Begins, that's well and good. I can even go as far as saying I understand why you don't like it. It doesn't have a lot of detective work. Fine. It is NOT the worst Batman movie ever made and that's that. There are so many great things in this movie that make up for the few bad things. No offense, but I'd be surprised if there were any other fans who agreed with you. |

The list goes on and on and on. And that's just the quotes. I'm not even mentioning the neon pink Gotham, the horrible villain costumes, the nipples, the non-freezing bat-suits....
One of the worst movies ever....and definitely the worst bat-flick! |

No offense taken but they didn't depict Batman properly the only thing good about it is how dark it is and the special effects and I have three friends that totally agree with me.

i have to completely disagree with that. batman begins depicted him the way he's supposed to be. a man struggling to find a way to release his anger and grief. he discovers that wearing this costume is the perfect outlet for his feelings. this movie was more about showing batman as a man struggling with the world and himself rather than uber off the top fight scenes like batman forever and ice skates popping out of his boots like in batman and robin. if one of the reasons you dislike this movie is because there is no detective work, then thats not a good reason at all, since batman begins chronicles his early adventures where he still hasnt EXACTLY gotten the grip of being this urban beast. if you want detective work you'll have to wait for 2 or maybe 3 where batman is perfectly calm within the suit and with his abilities. plus batmans fighting scenes are the epitome of MYSTERY since nolan purposely cut the fighting scenes so that the batman feels more mysterious. when i saw begins in theaters and i saw the first time batman took on those thugs taking care of the crates SHIVERS went down my spine. he grabbed a guy and took him out in darkness, tackled a guy while he was running through the boxes, popped up right behind a guy and grabbed him and flew up with him. then he lands and all we see is a boot, a cape, a fist and tons of guys getting mauled. then we see a scene of just a boot and about 20 knocked out thugs. Then we get to see batman up close after a scene of pure mystery as he screams "i'm batman!" and finishes falcone.if thats not the best interpretation of the batman on film you've ever seen then something has to be wrong...:yes::yes::yes:

yea i agree with DK666, batman begins was teh best bat-film ever(so far). but if this isnt the batman u werent expecting, im sure the next film will have it. u have to remember that this movie was about his first week or so as batman.

LOL, when I was younger I loved Batman and Robin, but I recently rewatched it and HATED IT!! It is definately the worst, although I love Alicia Silverstone as an actress in any thing else. I also thought Uma Therman was a good Poison Ivy. Other than that, it was dreadful. I didn't think Batman Forever was too terribly bad, and i LOVED Batman Returns. |

I think naming the three worst films is a little silly, especially if we're only considering everything from Burton to Begins. Batman Returns would probably be my #3, and I like that film. What about the serial films, and Batman: The Movie? They should certainly count.
And I don't believe for a second that you could honestly think Batman Begins is the worst Batman film. I'm not going to even begin arguing it.
