Remember when I complained that Two-Face got his own 13" figure and not Batman? No? Well, he's getting one...

This modern 13" figure includes four different stylized batarangs and a stand to display the figure. Packaged in a deluxe 4-color window box with a fifth panel.
Advance-solicited; on sale October 11
Deluxe Collector Figure? $69.99 US

Looks pretty cool, especially with what appears to be an entirely cloth bodysuit. There's something about the physique that bugs me a little. I think it's the legs. Either way, at $70, this to me promises to be one of the best Batman dolls to grace a collector's shelf. It'd be cool if they sold a set of extra gadgets for more posing fun.

He's got a good mold, but I'm just not into 13" dolls, or paying $69.99 for it. Still, pretty cool.

To anyone who buys this puppy, we on the forum would be happy to see photos of the product. Maybe they would convince me to buy it, but I'd probably have to find it a lot cheaper...

Thank you, PowermasterJazz! Only thing is, you can't be 100% that the Prototype is what the final product will look like. Still nice to get some photos though.

I'm hoping the cape is a little longer in the final product, but other than that I like it. Very Frank Millery.

Speaking of his cape, it's noticably longer in the original press image than on the prototype. Capes tend to bother people frequently because their too short like on Zipeline Batman and the McGuinness-styled Batman. I agree it should be longer, but I'm not expecting it to be.

Just as a heads up to all of the large scale figure collectors, this figure will be hitting comic shelves next week (october 4). I plan to drool over it, but I just don't have the budget for it.

WOW! That's a really great looking figure but 70 bucks?! OUCH! Being poor sucks, ha ha. Thanx for posting the pic though. I forgot to look, where are these sold from? Are they comic book store exclusives? Ya know, DC Direct or what?

I grabbed this one on a whim. He is really cool, his cape length is just above the ankles. His boots are a leather like material with working zippers on the backs and his gauntlets are leather like as well. I am one of those who unpacks my figs and displays them, I was discouraged to find that my figure's right "ear" is cut at a funny angle and it has a large unpainted area on the back of the cowl, like a big white scuff mark. Other than that its one hell of a figure.

Smile

I picked up mine last week at my comic shop...it is awesome! Makes me wish I had purchased the Two-Face figure as well.

The Two Face figure comes out this week, so you still have a chance.

I'm not big on soxth-scale figures, especially those with removable outfits, but this is one of the best I've seen. If I hadn't cut back so dramatically on buying action figures this past year, I might well have gotten this. It's a hell of a lot better than the lackluster Batman Begins Batman DC Direct released last year.
