Batman beat Captain America in the DC Vs. Marvel crossover in the 90's. Pretty good fight, but Cap went down with a batarang to the head. Of course, this falls under writer's preference whenever things like this happen.

Anyone seen the book Marvel vs. DC? Those two fought and they quit before finishing, that's when that big bang happend...don't really know what it was, I didn't read it just flipped through it.

in jla/avengers they didnt even throw a punch. it was stupid. they were about to fight and then they stopped.

id say batman gets more wins than cap because in alot of their fights it either ends with a draw, batman nor cap being able to best one another OR bats winning

The faceoff between them in JLA/Avengers was great. They begin to fight, but quickly realize both teams are being played by a third party. Each acknowledging the prowess of the other, they agree to uncover the truth behind what's happening. It's a great scene because it shows these two chracters the way they're supposed to be, mature, intelligent men who don't have to leap into a testosterone-fueled rage at the drop of a hat. Frankly, if they had beaten the tar out of one another, I would've been disappointed.
In an out-and-out fight, though, Batman would take Cap to the cleaners. :p

Batman would destroy Captain America. Captain America has one crummy shield that is pretty powerful. Batman has explosives, a room full of tank-like cars, an arsenal of guns (whether or not he chooses to use them) and many other things. Cap is still cool, though.

Batman all the way. I mean come on who can really beat Batman...... It would be sweet to see it though

For sure My money would be on Bats! A brawl as in strictly hand-to-hand? Might wanna put your money on Cap'n; he's a Super Soldier after all.  But I s'pose Batman could find a way to knock him unconscious without ending his life. In any case, it wouldn't be an easy victory for either man.
My brother has the whole DC Vs. Marvel/Amalgam collection and loves it to death. I can't remember Batman and Captain America's fight too well. Weren't they in a sewer?

As I remember, Batman hit Cap with a batarang winning. Cap even has a line about losing and dooming his universe. Then the guy who eventually becomes Access starts merging universes.
