I was talking with my friend and we came up with this idea and I was thinking of maybe making a fan comic or a just a written story.
Normally I stay away form fan fiction or fan comics, or fan art in general. I've done a few bat related drawings and Spidey related drawings in the past but those were pretty rare. I dunno, I just don't like screwing around with other people's characters etc. I feel like I might insult them or something, w/e.
Anywho, I've been thinkign about this very loose idea I had where Harley Quinn and Joker break up for good, and Harley goes on a rampage proving to be even more dangerous than the Clown Prince himself. The media, as well as Batman and some other rogues (Penguin and maybe Catwoman) continue to treat her as a "sidekick badguy" and she gets fed up of being in the shadow of Joker (maybe of Ivy as well, not sur yet) Eventually tortured dead bodies start showing up around Gotham, and they all have been made over to resemble Joker. Harley starts hunting Joker and Batman is forced to protect his worst enemy.
I've been throwing around some ideas, going over ideas and stuff. I wanted to bring in some elements from The Batman like Ellen Yin and the Kabuki Twins, and maybe some stuff from Dark Knight Returns and Hush, I've seen a little bit of Coutny Line and I like the horror aspects, but other than that stick mainly to my own stuff.
One idea I had that I'd definately use is Harley running into Penguin and the twins, and after Penguin does something to *CENSORED* her off she'd kill Penguin (making him the first of the made over victims)
Anywho, I just started working on it and was wondering if you guys would have any suggestions or ideas or thoughts.

interesting idea, hmmm maybe have clayface pretend he's penguin and get killed by harley so everyone thinks that penguin is dead. And because batman would want to confirm it, maybe have yin under their control (hostage or something) so she convinces batman not to take a look at the body and consider him dead. In then end its all a plot to get batman, with Joker, Penguin, Harley, and the Kibuki twins working together, ending the story with non stop action.

My first idea about why they'd break up for good is Harley walkign in on Joker having sex with another woman. Then I thought, maybe Joker does somethign so totally vile and sickand Harley can'tt beleive he would go that far.
Considering how much crap Joker does to her as is I couldn't think of much that would *CENSORED* Harley off enough to make her leave for good. Any ideas regarding that?
And I like your idea of it all being a conspiracy, and I definately want the ending to be actoin packed. I was thinking of a showdown between Bats, Harley, Joker, and the twisn (if I used them) and maybe Yin calling in backup from the cops.

IDEAS FOR WHY THEY BREAK UP FOR GOOD:
- Harley is sick and tired of the joker cursing her out and being so hard on her whenever one of their operations go wrong (Joker can also be abusive to her)
- Harley feels neglected as a result of jokers obsession with Batman
- Joker accidently shoots Harley during a battle with Batman (or the other way around)
- Harley realizes how she was manipulated by the joker and goes on a quest for revenge because he reuined her life
