Shrek the Third finds Shrek and Fiona reluctantly reigning over Far, Far Away. Indeed they seem to have some difficulty fitting into their robes, as well as adjusting to the etiquette expected of monarchs as Shrek is seen in the trailer (see below) having his nosehairs plucked. But if they can find the heir to the throne and bring him back, they can leave their current lives behind and return to their swamp. While Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots are in search of the heir, Fiona holds off a coup d?etat by Prince Charming.
The teaser trailer was shown in some cinemas before the movie Eragon and is already available on the Internet.
It begins with a shot of Donkey in Shrek's quarters trying to arouse Shrek by pulling down his bed clothes. Shrek's foot is seen and Donkey squeals: "You know you really need to get yourself a pair o' jammies!" Shrek grabs him by the neck and, walking over to the bedroom door in his underpants, throws him out into the corridor. He returns to find Puss in Boots resting on a cushion on his bed and grabs him by the scruff of his neck before throwing him out onto the window sill and closing the window. Puss then removes his hat and looking through the window, sad music is played as his eyes become shiny, his famous expression sweeping across his face...
doesn't look that bad, I'll probably end up seeing it with the family. I hope they don't butcher the series adn make a 4th and 5th movie
