Go HERE and sign up so that we can see how widespread our forum members are.
The site only requests a zip code so you won't be giving your exact home address. You can also view some really cool satellite pictures of many areas.
I can read the letters on the University of Arkansas's football field spelling "RAZORBACKS." Pretty cool how well some of them work.

That's pretty cool. Although mine didn't zoom in too much, and I couldn't really recognize the area it showed to be honest.
The actually town I live outside of is Worthington. I live by an area in the country that used to be called Rockville decades ago, so I like to say I live in Rockville. Although really, I might live outside of Rockville, which is outside of Worthington...

Some areas don't have a nice high resolution map you can get good details on. Eastern Arkansas (where I grew up) is that way. That or Caleson can't read a map.

Well, the zoom doesn't get quite close enough for me to see my house. I can see all the main roads and everything, though. It's pretty cool.

Wow, that satellite shot does go in close on Arkansas. But according to the pinpoint, you live in a pasture with no shelter...

I don't know why the marker was put so far south of everything. I live quite a bit north and east of there.
I thought that this was cool:
They were painting the letter on the football field at Razorback Stadium on the day that the satellite picture was taken. You can read "RAZORBACKS" upside down on the south end of the field. The SAS of ARKANSAS is on the north end.

This guy goes into the hospital, okay?...
His wife's just had a baby and he can't wait to see them both.
So he meets the doctor and he says, "Oh, Doc, I've been so worried. How are they?"
And the Doctor smiles and says, "They're fine, just fine. Your wife's delivered a healthy baby boy and they're both in tip-top form.
"You're one lucky guy."
So the guy rushes into the maternity ward with his flowers.
But it's empty.
His wife's bed is empty.
"Doc?" he says and turns around and the doctor and all the nurses wave their arms and scream in his face.
"APRIL FOOL! YOU'RE WIFE'S DEAD AND THE BABY'S A SPASTIC!!" |
